Can't verify bg_S1.tlk during the download

I am also getting the error message. So, is this a fairly widespread problem at the moment ?

Is Steve's "fix" more or less the best option, or is something more official in the works ?

Sorry i tried to connect and it didnt work. All my update are ready to download, but it stop and a message appear saying 'it cant be verified' and i wrote a message to the email adress '[email protected]' but no answers..., i didnt play for a couple of month, maybe its that, just want to know why and play again !! thanks all !! Not sure where to put this but I can't get in since it doesn't verify the tlk file *pout*

You should have a Neverwinter Nights 2 folder within your user account's document folder. So if you are using Windows 10:

Your PC > Documents > Neverwinter Nights 2 > TLK, and you can just place the "bg_S1.tlk" file there, and just delete the ".lzma" file of the same name.

Unfortunately, the file was packaged wrong, and will be fixed with the next server update. In the meantime, you can manually download it from Steve's post here:

Once downloaded, you just move it to your Documents/Neverwinter Nights 2/tlk folder, and it should work for you after you close out and restart the game!

Should be able to get the file from here, it's a problem that'll be solved in the next update. If the file doesn't work post again and I'll try to send you one or something.
