Jack nods with a wry smile to the man. "At that price you can take it now if you please," and gives a faint sigh.

"If I am too late for the sling, I am too late. But I offer 50 bags!"

He eyes the merchant and his possible customer

James mutters something under his breath before offering a slightly askew smile. "A man's word is his bond, my slight-too-late friend." He sighs then adds, "Would that you'd been a moment early. Alas I already agreed to sell it."
