The Lucky Find store bugged - no wares

Unread post by Slunko »

With the adition of the new BG market's random store, it now seems that Rockrun's random gear store (The Lucky Find) doesn't hold any wares anymore. He simply shows an empty store.

Did you come there shortly after a reset? I think it takes a while before it populates to prevent people from camping it and buying all the best gear as soon as the server comes on.

Ummm..."random gear store"?

I'm assuming this is part of new content from latest update, but I didn't see anything about it in the patch notes. Or maybe this is a UD thing, of which I'm completely ignorant.

I did come across an NPC labeled "traveling merchant" in Beregost yesterday who sold lots of high-quality epic items. That was over 12 RL hours ago. I just logged in and she's still there in Beregost, and still selling the exact same items. I was thinking she'd have moved on someplace else, or be selling a new set of items, but nope—nothing changed.

Well maybe that merchant is simply a new permanent fixture. But what's up with this new "random gear store"? Is this part of new dynamic NPC encounters? Or more a permanent-location NPC who offers new gear after each server reset? I once played on a server that had the latter and it was pretty awesome.

The Lucky Find has been around for around 4 or so months now. It has occasionally decent items for PCs. Nothing epic or even good but decentish.....Emphasis on the ISH at like the power of infinity but it is a nice feature Valefort put in.

There's an equivalent of the Lucky find in the Wide now, named the second hand.
