A colorful air genasi enters the Muse brimming from ear to ear with a smile. He bursts through the door and begins to speak
Lads I was sent here by Thedran of the Radiant Heart! Says there might be some interest in the skills of one such as I have to offer! Names Danny G'Louvre and I am a merchant, magician and performer of sorts just out of the Calim area!
His smile never falters as he then seats himself at the bar asking to speak to the proprietor's of the establishment. While waiting he performs various bar tricks making coins and cards vanish and reappear for patrons and singing requested songs of the area. Ordering copious amounts of alcohol and food all the while waiting for the owners to come and speak with him
////Looking to join the group with a new PC and do RP around the concept of this new PC. PM Calodan for RP time to meet up and continue RP.

Likely someone within the Minstrel's Muse, perhaps even Jack the doorman, would tell Danny G'Louvre that the proprietor Luke Darius is away and suggest to check back in after the new year.
// OOC holiday season = busy people and cannot engage. Please check back after new year once things have settled and folks have come back from travels etc.

A single, long, rolled parchment is delivered by a Helmite pageboy courier to Darius Holding Company, addressed to Mr. Luke Darius. It bears the sigil of Helm's outward-facing palm in simple, pressed red wax, the surety that its contents are secure.
Rather than sending a runner, the young tactician of the Red Knight is seen approaching the Minstrel's Muse. Aaron Lyonaler hands over a letter to any members of Darius Company to deliver to Luke, upon his convenience with word that should Luke wish to find him, he has taken a room at the Helm and Cloak.

Last evening there was a meeting held for the members of the Darius Holding Company, which owns the Minstrel's Muse, in what the vision and goals for 1354 DR would be. Ideas floated around along with several promotions being made. Namely Adelaide van de Saer being promoted to the Board of Trustees, Nathan Goldenmane and Beladra Gemflower jointly being promoted to Heads of Security, and Angela Wolfe as Head of the Minstrel's Muse. Wren Di'Corvi Blackthorne holds the position as Head of Local and Foreign Trade since earlier last year.
Those keeping an eye on the Darius Holding Company may know that the Company has lost both of its Heads of Operation with Ronja Leonhart and Cosimo Delucca departing but anyone close would know that this is no setback and that the business is still flourishing, especially with rumours of the ennoblement of the Darius Holding Company's Director, Luke Darius - now known as Lord Darius.
Furthermore, with the plans for 1354 DR there are rumours of the Minstrel's Muse being in need of more bartenders, at least one chef and several performers to grace the establishments stage. Anyone interested are to inquire within.

Lord Darius took to the Podium to address some of the seditious comments being preached lately.
"Citizens of Baldur’s Gate!
I come to you today to encourage each of you to look past the hateful and seditious rhetoric that has been occurring in the past days. In the last tenday you’ve had opportunity to listen to the words of Sir Arnemeiger and Pryat Machshikhah. This day I would deliver you words to encourage unity and harmony. To look past differences based on races and examine the deeds those who frequent the Gate do commit.
Those who stood here and preached to you previously speech filled with division. Our allies from the elven communities have on numerous occasions came to the defense of our great city. In recent times, Mendel himself came to the cities defense during the siege by the undead, defeating an Angel of Decay. They fought the black orcs in the woods. They joined the war councils and lent wisdom when it was needed. It’s convenient that others are so short sighted to forget the travesties that our allies have aided us in here in the Gate but I trust I do not need to bring any of this to your minds.
Allow me to speak clearly: I am against the presence of the Zhentarim in this grand city. The Zhentarim consorted with Lolthite drow and the blood from the drow raids on Ulgoths Beard, Greenest, and Hills Edge is on their hands. Where is their justice? Moreso, I was the man left murdered in the Temple of Ilmater one fateful night, by the now Dreadlord of Darkhold. I was the man faced with injustice when that man who used necromantic magic in a holy place was permitted back into the city.
I did not take to the streets and insult the rulers of this fine city? Nay, certainly not. I worked hard to promote industrial development, create jobs, and take care of my people. I dedicated my time to promote trade and help the city that I love grow. I seek to grow connections with our allies in the Lord’s Alliance, Elturel, Iriaebor, and Berdusk.
So who should be condemned? Is it the Zhent traitors who collude with drow? Yet Pryat Machshikhah stood up here, making Balduran heroes into monsters based on the words of drow, drow which she condemned! Where did she receive these reports from? Did she receive the words of drow from them directly? Does she coordinate with those whom collude with drow, those she has condemned?
If tolerance is to be treason, I would demand that she give answers to her own seemingly treasonous ways! Where is the answer to her sedition? How can we take seriously a Helmite who openly breaks the laws of the place she is trying to protect?
Long live the Dukes, long live Baldur’s Gate!
Lord Darius"

Nathan spends the morning unbolting the fireplace grates after dousing the flames, and scrubbing out the inside of the fireplace. Perhaps oddly, he sticks his head in to visually inspect the inside of each fireplace carefully, paying especially close attention for anything that might be scratched into the soot on the stone inside the fireplace or in the early part of the chimney. He repeats this process for all fireplaces and stoves in the Minstrel's Muse, as well as the smoker area inside the Darius Holding Company Warehouse. After finishing with the fireplaces, he pulls up the floorboards in the Barracks area of the warehouse and checks underneath them on the stone flooring, before sealing them back up and replacing the boards. It's clear that he is looking for something specific rather than simply doing maintenance.
Nathan, on a desk in a hidden room somewhere in the Holding Company, sits, pensive. On the desk spread out before him are copies of numerous letters, bits circled, especially those relating to mention of a sword. There is mention of a knight, Ser Anthem of Torm, and an arrow pointing to small script. "He has accepted the truth of my unproven theory. Collaborate with him. Left copies of letters for him."
The man frowns deeply, looking over the gathered documents, and a sealed wax letter arrives. He studies it, wide eyed, and pens a response, then pins the letter next to the letter discussing the sword, on the desk.
Pensive, he frowns.
"They all say it cannot be you that brings these devils. They all say I give you too much credit and laugh at me. But I will look, until I can prove it is you or I can prove it is not, because they did not believe Beladra when she spoke against you, and they did not believe either of us after telling what had been learned in following you. Every time they do not believe, it gets worse. I will make them see, this time."
Nathan Goldenmane - Guardian of Ilmater's Sanctuary, Mercy's Blade
For the last week Danny has been late to work, leaves shifts suddenly, caught day dreaming instead of serving and not quick to talk to much of anyone at all that is of course supposing he remembered to show up at all....All of it seems rather absent minded really and not really signs of anything sinister as he usually offers a polite smile for his transgressions and puts himself to work...maybe...

Wizard in green robes enters the Muse, looking around a moment. If someone of the company would be present at time he would hand a sealed letter. Else he would leave it at the bar. The letter is adressed to Lord Luke Darius.
The long absent Cosimo Delucca is seen about in the Minstrel's Muse again. He's let it be known he has been back the best part of a month, now, but has been buried in paperwork for much of that time, catching up.
It seems he has taken up his role again as Head of Operations in the Darius Holding Company.
Cosimo Delucca, Waterdeep Office Chamberlain of House Darius - "I need to think. Got any wine?"
Fingal Darius, accompanied by many from Darius Company, were seen walking the roads yesterday, giving back to the community by donating adventuring supplies and equipment to those who were new to their adventuring paths.

Another pair of letters goes out from the Radiant Heart Chapterhouse, carried by a messenger wearing the symbol of a heart in a circular field upon his cloak. Both parchments are also sealed in the golden wax and the stamp that indicates the sender as Lord Eldarian Al'maire, tied in gold-edged ribbon. The messenger bearing these treads with purpose into the Harbor District of the city, moving swiftly among the press of locals and sailors until he finds his way to the Minstrel's Muse. He delivers the letters, being sure to denote the two separate recipients to the Darius who guards the door.
A hooded woman arrives at the Muse in late afternoon, entering the building and immediately looking for her chosen victims, Nathan and/or Cosimo, or indeed anyone else she's on a first-name basis with that may be present, intent on conscripting their help in dispersing a large amount of freshly-prepared food to the district's less fortunate. She bribes her help with a small portion of the food. Obviously, she will whine and flail until she gets the help she came for.
