Re: Level Restricted Chests
I just feel some double-talk when I meet RP like "just passing through" from the character with a "build that makes sense in RP".

Re: Level Restricted Chests
well i dont know about anyone else but i gather that my characters and the gnolls and goblins and ogres are all on pretty much the same side. so i go there to "rally the troops" if you will. and while they have not shown any favor what so ever for having me there helping them out, frequency i hope will bring familiarity. (using my in game actions to dictate a possible OOC response from my efforts to the team)
so i help them out a little. seems they could use the help. sorry.
hugs and kisses.

Re: Level Restricted Chests
But that would be a matter of RP and figuring it out between you and them, right? I don't think it would warrant promoting what the OP proposed by re-implementing Level Restricted Chests.SK2 wrote:I just feel some double-talk when I meet RP like "just passing through" from the character with a "build that makes sense in RP".
Just a different topic, and certainly one worthy of attention, but maybe in a different thread since the issue is not with the level of the chests or the current restriction levels, but a matter of how it's RP'd out.
I would argue it's a matter of RP respect. Like I said, it's no different than any other interaction one can experience on the server when encountering another player. And it's justifiable in a million different reason's, RP or otherwise, that anyone could come up with.
I would surmise that this is the issue that is at the core of it, but restriction of chests is not really a viable solution if the issue is one of disagreement over RP and meta-game.

Dude. When you try to claim your edgy body-switching immortal dark lord drow former moon elf whose primary hobby is killing paladins and he also has a cliche 'goes insane because he's so emotional' thing makes sense lore-wise and is "chaotic neutral" despite being an obviously evil dude, and people don't know your character so they shouldn't judge, maybe you shouldn't jump to calling out this relatively minor thing? You don't know their characters, don't judgeSK2 wrote:I just feel some double-talk when I meet RP like "just passing through" from the character with a "build that makes sense in RP".

That's stupid. You like money in real life? Characters like money too. They try to get more of it. You're just being hypocritical and contrary.SK2 wrote:It makes only sence OOC for people to go after money. Story over.CleverUsername123 wrote:It makes sense IC for people to go after money. You don't get to call people trying to get money unrealistic when you play a bodyswapping immortal bad-excuse-to-PVP-lowbies. People work dead-end awful jobs irl for minimum wage. It isn't unreasonable to think that powerful Knights and wizards will go to safer areas for more.SK2 wrote:If you like something, it doesn't mean that everyone around like it too.CleverUsername123 wrote:That's stupid.
