As awful as a chaotic neutral necromancer seeking godhood (CN? really?) is, and the 'random temporary insanity' and the 'CHAOTIC NEUTRAL DARK LORD' and the vampire thrall he owns, and the "you can't sense motive him because he doesn't know he's lying but he can still lie about it" and apparently he's actually undead and thousands of years old, and he switches bodies (I think this is just a Mary Sue wish fulfillment character), I think it's against forum rules to make a targeted thing like this?

I got a chuckle out of it, but if I may ask... targeted against who, or what? You may be taking it a bit too seriously

I can see your point. I remember one time I made a mistake regarding a character's backstory, someone just gave me a heads-up in a private tell, which I appreciated. I asked the DMs about the issue, then I did more research myself and found out the other player was right, and I RPd it accordingly. When I told the DMs about my research and how the other player was right, it was even recorded as a DM ruling. Private tells or PMs can be pretty constructive and productive!

Perhaps the Character should be granted godhood by the administration "before" putting him in the Deity list?

I mean as I see it, the gods in the deity list are kinda already "Acended" one way or another. Having a Mortal player running around and being in the god-list is a bit funny. Considering I know The Coven Roleplays worshipping this character IG as I understand It i think the request is meant as serious. Even if it may be considered a bit ludicrous

Also whats up with the Deity being CN but having "Evil" in its portfolio? Seems like he has somewhat of a personality disorder xD

Have you read his character bio? He claims to be an immortal (almost two thousand years old) necromancer with body-switching powers, born a moon-elf and now a drow, can only cast magic when he's drinking alcohol, is "driven by emotion" and has "bursts of insanity" where he kills people for no reason, and a bunch of other crap like that. He also refers to himself as the Dark Lord and his hobby is killing paladins.

Then he claims it to be Chaotic Neutral.

A Chaotic Neutral necromancer body-switcher Dark Lord paladin hunter. Even if it was Evil, this would be a ridiculous character, but he claims it to be neutral.

The original poster might not actually be joking. He's part of that guild. I'm kind of worried, actually, if there are people who can take that backstory seriously.

The server takes on a very different level of roleplay during certain hours.

Then it's just metagaming and not valid for any serious attention, especially IC. However I will say that if his character just *believes* he is a God and got some followers that's just like any religious sect. That's ok.

What I was saying is that for a new deity to be added to BG that one should be granted godhood by the powers of the staff first which won't happen. I was just pointing out the obvious :p
