Re: The Church of Mystra RP
Halron entered the church today with a man of foreign southern heritage. The armored man was wearing the colors, holy symbols and heraldy of Mystra. After shortly talking with High Priestess Neela the two take a tour around the building. After the far traveled man leaves the green robed wizard heads up to Nex office.

Re: The Church of Mystra RP
After a long interview, Servant of Mystery Baedar Galaezan is seen in the main temple with Dame Nezkreal and Diviner Halron. There, the cleric swears vows to serve in the Temple of Mystra in Baldur's Gate for the duration of his time in the region.
It is said Baedar hails from the distant land of Halruaa and his manners, while very polite, are strange.

Re: The Church of Mystra RP
Servant of Mystery Baedar led an impromptu, short prayer ceremony with two visitors to the temple yesterday. One was an elven mage and Bladesinger coming to pay his respects to the Mother of Magic. The other was a fellow Mystran, and one Baedar seemed pleased to welcome, as it is said that he is a member of the Children of the Starry Quill.

Hammer 16, 1354 - Ritual Performed as an amulet of explosive power was returned to the weave.
The Ritual was Completed with attendees: (will fill in last names!)
Nezkreal
Baedar
Halron
Luke Darius
Rania
Sirion
Senior Knight Nezkreal Sezifear and Mystran Servant Baedar worked together in preparing the components for the Ritual, while Diviner Halron brought in the others. The amulet to be offered to Mystra belonged to Rania of the Hall of Inner Light. The amulet was wrapped in a blessed cloth and held by she who had donated it. The rite of sacrifice began with a prayer of introduction.

"O Mystra, Mother of All Magic, we praise you and give you thanks for letting us gather together to rejoice in your sublime beauty, and the delight that is the Art. Enliven our faith today by helping us to remember your gift to us as well as our responsibility in its proper use."
"And so we bless the Lady of Mysteries."
The words of the prayer brought a life to the alter. The vortex began to shift and turn with the brilliant colors of the spectrum.
The alter was blessed with eight drops of the blessed holy water.
Rania brought forth the relic and offered it to the alter.

"O Mystra, Mother of All Magic, Creator of the Art, you who have revealed many and varied mysteries of magic: grant us your favour as we give back to you a portion of the Art you have given us. Take back what was always yours."
"And so we bless the Lady of Mysteries."
The amulet was swept into into the alter and broken disintegrated into the weave itself.
The ritual was said to be concluded with a prayer.

A red robed wizard is seen entering the Temple, making the resident cat run into the library. Moments later Diviner Halron would emerge and head into the Alter room where he would be greeted, to his suprise, by a familiar figure to him.

The wizards would exchange their thoughts in several subjects ranging from news of Waterdeep, theory of several aspects of magic and their own personal research. Both seemed to loose track of time and conversing for a long time, perhaps hours in good spirit. Later on the wizard in green would return to his study in the vault and the wizard in red would head towards Palace District. Some arcanists that by chance run into her might regonize her from the recent Magefair.

Alturiak 9, 1354
Since a few days now, the chestnut-brown haired, relatively tall elven wizardess once again can be seen tending to her business around the church.
This day, after finding some time at last to discuss the recent events with Dame Nezkreal Shezifear, they found a fidgety moon-elf woman in the Altar Chamber who experienced a small problem with her conditions lately.

Words came about magical rituals of dubious origin, then sharp claws, pointy teeth and growing scales were shown, and the unfortunate elven woman was escorted to the inner chambers immediately.
Trusting the matter in the hands of her arcanist, Dame Nezkreal soon left to address an other of her numerous tasks. Syndreth took a closer look on the scales of other elf and shivered under the light of her discovery, for those were the scales of a fabled creature not many can say to met in person.
Seeing how agitated the other elf was, Syndreth offered her to stay in the library for the night.

Preparing a bottle of Evereskan wine and a handful of books with lore that may prove useful in their examination, the wizard decided to stay with her cousin until the sun raises again and her colleagues return to the Church and could share their wisdom with them.

Re: The Church of Mystra RP
Just one or two days went by, and the silvery-blue haired moon-elf was back in the church. Syndreth talked with her for a long time, and drafted all the theories she could come up with about her condition.
The discussion between the elf lasses quickly rotated between gloomy and cheerful, and Syndreth was happy to see that the other's mood has lifted a bit in overall.
Soon after they prayed together before the statue of Mystra, and the wizard pleaded her Goddess to help her to provide useful advices, as well as to guide her cousin in the following days. At the end of the prayer, a magic wand was offered on the altar to the Lady of Mysteries.
Help could come on unexpected ways, they say, but Syndreth that time thought that they've opened all the doors it may arrive through.

Re: The Church of Mystra RP
The silvery-blue haired elf returns to the temple once more, perhaps to some now known as Learia, this time running with a large scroll in her hand and shouting "I DID IT! IT'S FINISHED!". The elf immidiately tries to seek out either Syndreth or Halron to take hours out of their life that will never return to them to talk about what she, supposedly, made.
She waits patiently at the altar room, trying not to scare any of common faithful away from the place with her odd enthusiasm. Or get herself thrown out.

Re: The Church of Mystra RP
Laeria was greeted by Syndreth and Halron, and when the man suddenly had to leave to solve an other mystery, the two women walked up to the office, both being excited about the contents of the scroll.
---
One hour or two passed, when a figure looking like a sun-elf male with red hair and dark orange eyes stepped out of the door of the temple, in a rather cheerful and carefree mood. Wandering around, he suddenly stopped before the Blade and Stars and initiated a lighthearted flirt with a young women trying to enter the inn. Then - in mid-sentence - he abruptly disappeared without any trace. The onlookers could not find any explanation of the happenings.---
Not much later the two elf also left the church, but now wearing a bit tired and maybe helpless expressions.?

Re: The Church of Mystra RP
Laeria appears at the temple again, dressed in her usual adventuring gear. She leaves a small donation to the Temple and then takes a seat under one of the pillars, at the edge of pool of water. She seems enthusiastic and spreads scrolls, few books an inkwell and a bottle of wine across her make shift working station. Unless someone of the clergy comes to her, she asks kindly not to disturb her, because "There's GENIOUS at work here!"
Then she continues to doodle and write on scrolls with an awkwardly held stylus in her hand.

Re: The Church of Mystra RP
Excerpt from the Dogma:
"Seek always both to learn new magic and to create new magic, but experimenting to learn to craft something oneself is better than merely buying scrolls or hiring tutors."
The scrolls laid down around the edge of the pool were written in a rather negligent fashion. Here some diagrams on summoning were inaccurate, there some components described incorrectly, and there were some parts that were entirely new to Syndreth. Still, the conjugation between the elements of the newly forming ritual were nothing if not intuitive to the extremes."Seek always both to learn new magic and to create new magic, but experimenting to learn to craft something oneself is better than merely buying scrolls or hiring tutors."
When Laeria told her what she plans to do, Syndreth's jaws dropped. Such carelessness! Still, the moon-elf just grinned at her like such a summoning was the most natural thing to do with someone's free-time. Where does the irresponsible use of magic starts - the wizard wondered - and what if someone succeeds over the risks and manages to create something that never existed before, a beautiful new wonder of the Wave? Who's there to judge her actions in the end, if not the Goddess? Laeria's enthusiasm started to take hold of her too.
For hours, they sit on the edge of the pool, working through the diagrams, and discussing what's still there to be done.

A dwarf enters the temple holding a small wooden box. He would approach the priestess, offer his name , "Adolamin Marblerune of Kraak Helzak", before proceeding to the statue of the Lady of Mysteries.
There he would lay the offering down on the steps in front of the statue. Speak a few words low on his breath. And walk back towards the priestess.
He would give her a letter with instructions to pass it onto the Clergy Leadership.

Re: The Church of Mystra RP
Few days since the first acts of vandalism appeared on the property of Church of Mystra Halron makes his way to Sorcerous Sundries during daylight. Those that might catch him outside the church would note a faster pace than ususal and thoughtful expression evident on his face. Inside the store he converses with Halbazzer of the recent events a moment, before ordering an unsual amount of his usual supply of parchment and other materials for porpuse of research. Amount is evident to last a longer time.
The green robed wizard would make his way back to the temple to drop by his supply to the private quarters and again head outside. This time to enter the Blade and Stars Inn. There he would order a supply of food and drink from Hester the Innkeeper to be delivered to the temple next door. He would leave the inn with a bought crate of white wine and disappear to the depths of the temple.
After dark those with the ability to see the invisible and be present at the right time might catch the wizard taking one or more short routes around the property. He stops to inspect the walls and surroundings cloaked with his invisibility spell. Should he be companied by his brethren he would cast the concealing spell on them aswell. After the route he would disappear inside the temple and only emerge on pressing errand or business, but remain in the city or the outskirt for now.

A message was delivered by courier to the Church of Mystra in Baldur's Gate, addressed to Journeyman Amaryun.
"They're just furry and misunderstood."
"Is that why you are killing them?"
"Yes. They will atone in death."
"Ah. That will help them understand."

Re: The Church of Mystra RP
On the afternoon of 24 of Ches, the two arcanists Syndreth Fieryfey and Halron Amaryun was running around between the chambers of the church, carrying a strange looking small animal with them and causing some headache to High Priestess Neela.

Those walking the streets below the walls of the church that night, would probably notice an odd purple mist accompanied by some butterflies slowly streaming out through the open windows on the upper floors.
