First Name: Taevemira
Last Name: Fjord
Appearance:
Race: Aasimar
Age: 18
Height 6'5
Weight: 190 lbs
Eyes: Azure
Hair: Amber and most often worn in a half dutch pony tail.

Taevemira isn't the type to wear a lot of makeup preferring her tanned face to consume glorious sunshine. Typically her eyeliner is a hue of yellow orange or gold and her lips colored with subtlety. Exceptions are made for formal events that would carry on past sundown.

Taevemira is uncommonly long and lean with an athletic build. One might think her in daily attire to be an acrobat by trade. Her back tapers down to a narrow waist supported by a sturdy base though her arms are uncommonly thick which suggests a life of labor.

Personality Profile:
General Health: Taevemira has some after effects from surviving the plague, but otherwise healthy enough.
Deity: Lathander
Initial Alignment: Lawful Good
Profession: Squire of the Radiant Heart.
Habits/Hobbies: Unlike perhaps most of Dawnbringers faithful Taevemira has a more then casual interest in machines, woodcraft, and other wonders.
Languages: Local languages spoken in Luskan and Calimshan.
Weapon of Choice: Scimitar
Background:

Taevemira was born in Waterdeep to an unwed woman of unknown means. When still a baby Tae was stolen from her home in the middle of the night by opportunists and sold upon the market in Calimshan. As fate would have it, however, Tae was purchased by an altruistic and philanthropic couple of spice traders who traveled down and up the coast from Calimshan to Luskan and everywhere in between. Their family business named Fjord Spice and Spirit located in the docks of Neverwinter for a few short generations. The death of her parents by a mysterious magical plague at sea some five years ago that quickly swept the docks of Neverwinter and faded just as suddenly spelled the end of the family trade company. Taevemira was also inflicted and through her ties with the Temple of Sun Soul Monks was saved from a horrible and prolonged death. When not traveling with her parents Taevemira spent her time in various Sun Soul Monastaries along the cities of the coast being educated in reading, writing, arithmetic as well as being taught the ways of the Sun Soul Monks and Dawnbringer and his ways. When with her parents, she was instructed practically, martially, and linguistically by a family friend mercenary/bodyguard who hailed from Calimshan.

Goals:
  • Study the laws of Tyr and code of the merciful Sword.
  • Spread the Wisdom of Lathander amongst the fair folk and help bring about Deliverance if she is able.
  • Free Ser Armingers soul and allow it to rest in the afterlife
  • 'save' her mentor from himself, if able

Possible Plot-Hook Ideas and Misc Facts:
  • Biological Mother could still be alive as well as her martial guardian at arms.
  • Plague bringer or agents could still be stirring around sword coast.
  • Taevemira is nuisanced and pragmatic when it comes to trade having experienced it first hand for years. In most matters Taevemira tends to be naïve to the desires and motivations of others. In the short time Tae had arrived in Baldur's Gate and subsequently became a knight youthful naivety has been trampled upon. She is becoming more practical and more keen to understanding the nature of man and politics. Not that she understands them, she is not selfish by nature nor one to politic laws to certain ends. New burdens feel heavy, weighting her down, though she rarely ever complains or speaks of it.
  • Shows flashes of ditziness despite her monk training.

Herein lies the end of the story of Taevemira Fjord of the Radiant heart.

Rumors of late spoke of increased activity of the unliving had routinely reached her ears in the past two tenday. Taevemira wanders about the chapterhouse and a sigh escapes her lips. Recent years have been unkind to the order and those who have braved it's halls. The court of public opinion hath been unkind as the agents of chaos and evil have successfully stained the reputation of the once proud order. Even those who would have be natural allies and friend hath avoided defending the Most Noble Order publically for fear of political reprisals or perhaps merely apathy. How this all transpired is not entirely grasped by the knight. Stories of betrayal, fallen paladins, overzealous leadership, jealousy, distrust, and paranoia run through her mind. So much endured for an order known for a paragonship of lawful and goodness. "They are all busy, or assigned elsewhere. We are stretched so thin", escapes her lips in a whispered tone. Taevemira packs up what supplies she can and darts out of the chapterhouse with racehorse like speed until she comes upon the tower which leads to the fields of the dead. There, she meditates for an hour, preparing herself for whatever might be encountered.

The determined woman calls a stead and together they ride into the fields. They gallop past singular figures only stopping for small packs leaving them to rest and blessing and burning their bodies. As she approaches a small crypt not known for much activity, something feels off. Her ki momentarily is thrown out of balance and she dismounts . Keen senses scan the immediate area. Her ears perk as sounds of desperate magical words as strung together, garbled and unintelligible. She charges forward into the crypt and before her a spell caster struggles for his very life. Taevemira's body envelops in flame as her fist, heel, knee and foot break bone. In a matter of two minutes all dead lie dead at their feet.

The dark and mysterious spell caster smiles brightly. "What good fortune you came along when you did, I suppose I am in debt mi' lady." His eyes scan the emblem on her attire and his smile grows. "What can I do to repay you mi'lady?" Tavemira simply smiles. "No need, Taevemira Fjord of the Most Radiant Heart at your service" *she bows to him* The man coughs into his hand then wipes his brow. "Make no mistake, I shall not forget this. In my condition I fear it's best to teleport to Athkatla, perhaps you are headed that way yourself?" The stoic knight responds "I still have other haunts to check upon, though I shall remain to stand guard as you cast your spells" The warlock smirks and retorts "Oh, what good fortune to have met you my dear knight" spoken as he begins to ward. The warlock eyes Taevemira awaiting his opportunity and once he is certain her attention is drawn away from him and he utters a dastardly spell. A stream of acid streams from his fingers melting through the young knight's neck into her skull. A dying shrill of scream escapes her lips, falling dead in an instant. The warlock walks up to her, "what a pity that such beauty be defiled such as this. What a fortune pity, celestial blood" laughing darkly to himself as he clutches a rune and scroll reciting it and pops out of a existence returning to his dwelling in an instant. *end scene*

As the seasons cycle her name will be mostly forgotten. A tragic tale and fate of many young squires, aspirants, and knights. No record of heroic deeds that failed to came to pass. Her name written upon the wall of the fallen inside the annuals of the chapterhouse, honored in dying in humble service. If remembered at all, her short legacy stained with her associations and deeds of Anthem Arnemiger. A good man lead astray and betrayed by evil. Doubt, guilt, and her personal failure perhaps will haunt her for centuries in the afterlife until Anthem's soul is put to rest. So is the ironic fate of the story of hardship, betrayal, and tragedy of the forgotten knight known as Taevemira Fjord.
