Nine Lives and Nat Armor +4 Amulet

Lannia sits in the empty merchant stall at FAI with two near priceless items.

"I have a amulet with a four tier armor enchantment, and a fine blade that currently sells in the Gate for 980 bags."

The items are protected elsewhere, she posts a description of both with a minimum opening bids.

Longsword: UMD or Evil: Min bid 300 bags

Nat Armor Amulet: Min Bid 100 bags

"I am also looking for gloves, rings or necklaces that will allow me to cast more spells before I fatigue. A belt that will allow me to cast more spells of 5th tier and higher." ((Spirit Shaman))

[Cenerae]

An armored woman approaches, examining the notices of the offered items. She gives her name as Natali, and puts down a bid of one hundred and twenty bags for the amulet.

[The Butler]

A tall and slim man approaches the stall. He is dressed in a neat black uniform and dons impeccable white gloves. His face is adorned with groomed mutton chops and atop his head sits a powdered wig. He speaks in an elegant manner:
"Madam. If you would allow me, I would like to place a bid of a hundred and thirty bags of gold for the amulet on display."

He then turns his attention to the woman who introduced herself as Natali, and offers her a polite smile:
"Dear miss Natali, if I may indulge you and perhaps have a moment of your time? I have an offer for you as well - if you were to refrain from bidding on the amulet, I would be so inclined to gift you with twenty thousand gold. But only if the amulet were to go to me. I will understand, of course, if you wish to decline my offer. There would be no ill feelings."

Natali inclines her head respectfully to the man, but after a moment of considering his offer, she shakes her head.

"I am sorry, but if I keep allowing people to buy me away from items I require, I shall never obtain them. Perhaps your purse will end up larger than mine despite, but I am obligated to make the attempt."

With that, she turns to Lannia and indicates a bid of one hundred and sixty bags.

Lannia notes the bids with a polite nod.

"If no higher bid is received before a day has passed, the amulet will go to you Miss."

Lannia gives her normal irrepressible smile and sets some peanut and honey cookies out for bidders to take as they please from her kitchen at the Last Anchor.

"Please enjoy!"

"Certainly, madam. In that case I shall offer one hundred and seventy bags for the amulet."

Reiju approaches showing a belt and says:

"I have a belt that you seek. I wish to sell it for gold. How much are you willing to pay for it?"

"Greetings, my ladies.", says Pietro come to see the formed group around the auction. "It's a chance that I found you and the amulet. I'll bid 200 bags of gold on it."

She takes a look at the offered belt. ((PM pending))

She notes the new highest bid at 200 bags with a grateful nod and a warm smile.

"New highest bid at 200 bags will take the amulet if no higher bids are received in a day's time."

Lannia Checks back at the stall for more bids, and nods.

"9 candlemarks before the bid of 200bags takes it."

[Cenerae]

Natali shakes her head, after some consideration. Inclining her head once more, she takes her leave without a word.

Mister Tree makes an offer of 220 bags for the amulet.

A nearby gnome can be heard playing hus lute in what sounds to be an early form of blues..


"Had one for sale myself,
Had a sign and all..
Must be cause I'm a gnome I guess
Had but a couple come to call..
Thought I'd made a fortune yes,
Turned silver into gold.
But now I see I hoodwinked myself

The sound fades as he strolls away.

She nods to Mr. Tree.

"220 bags is the new high bid," She considers a moment, "In the interest of not extending the auction indefinitely, I would place a hard end on this auction of this eve."

"Highest bid by then takes it," She nods, "At current the high bid is 220 bags from Mr. Tree."
