Potential issue with wands/queue system

Just recently I was in combat and was trying to use a wand of cure serious wounds, but for some reason it kept defaulting to attack, even when it was in queue, it even did so when I removed the attack manually from the queue it would put a new attack in front the queued action to use the wand - as it would not let me use the wand it resulted in my character dying.

Very unfortunate loss of xp due to a bug, but regardless of this, was this a bug or intentional?
- and its not the first time I've seen in happen.

happens with healers kits as well, not sure what to call it tho
everyone is evil till proven otherwise

Well it could be, because I also tried to use a healing kit just before, but since that didn't work I tried with the wand instead, so it could be related or triggered by the healing kit.

What I've found works for me is moving to a new position before using the wand / healing kit. The game tends to cause you to auto-attack when you are being attacked, even if you are trying to do something else - sometimes moving to a new position will clear the action queue better than cancelling the action in the quickbar itself.

Which really isn't very good, its good to know as a workaround, but definitely something that should tried to be alleviated somehow because in many cases one doesn't have the option to or repositioning will only worsen the situation or be furthering ones death.

-always position your middle finger on S button on the keyboard (character view)
-1 click it to move behind without getting attack of opportunity
-a split second after clicking S with your finger, click heal kits/wand/healing potion on your potrait/quickbar
-remember not to stay your finger at S button because it will cancel your heal/wand action

-alternatively, put healing kits/wand at button no 1 or 2 so a split second you click S, you click 1/2 for the healing and you can spam the 1/1/1/11/1/1/2/2/2/2/2 for using many healing kits to avoid death.(like playing first person shooter game)

p/s: everything is difficult the first time you do it. its like learning how to ride a bicycle, soon after few years you will get the hang of it.(you can differentiate an expert micro player and non during adventuring and these split second will determine death/alive situation)

Using W or S is the preferred queue canceler. It's registered as a pseudo click a few inches from the character and will work even when surrounded by collision (NPCs, walls, etc). We don't have control over the game's behavior for this.
