Doubt we would add it as choices in the selection list GUI. That thing is already pretty long to scroll through. Maybe it could be added as a choice in the player options. I will give it a think.Hoihe wrote:dedude wrote:Gender is not by choice, but is applied depending on your own gender. And only for the few races that has both genders available.
Any chance, if possible, to have it be a choice?
Let's just say my wizard has a few distasteful people to teach a lesson or two temporarily.

Nevermind, when I tried it yesterday immedietly after update it didn't work, does work for some reason today.DiceyCZ wrote:Well my mage is a tiefling female, race that has both genders but somehow my dwarf/elf/drow etc are all male forms.Cenerae wrote:I'm seeing the female forms on my polymage, which is great because it no longer feels super weird to RP the mechanic when she was forced to change into guys.DiceyCZ wrote:Unless I am missing something, the lady-forms are still not fixed. I tried right after the patch rolled and was just waiting for patch notes to confirm, but all of the polymorph shapes were males.

Re: Polymorph/shapechange bugs
The polyspellfix getting stuck in the inventory bug appears to still be happening with shapechange.

Re: Polymorph/shapechange bugs
So, not sure if this is spell or shapechange bug, but here goes.
Deeze's Repulsive Barrier seems to give +4 shield AC, however this is not stated in the spell description itself. The problem with shapechange here is, that while "Shield" spell AC transfers to Shapechange forms, Deeze's Repulsive Barrier AC does not. So, IF Deeze's is supposed to give shield AC please fix it for Shapechange.
Thanks

Re: Polymorph/shapechange bugs
Hello again, this is not exactly a bug but...
When using the feat to tranform after using polymorph/shapechange, it uses only one of them if both are cast on character. Would it be possible to maybe make two separate feats or some kind of choice which spell to use, or maybe pool the two lists if both spells are active?
Or, and I don't know how that would change balance since it's RP spell supposedly, maybe make polymoprh a spell-feat like Deflection?
Thanks

Re: Polymorph/shapechange bugs
Ok so with my sorcerer Polymorpher... everytime I change shape into something or back to normal form, i can see my known spells drop by one. I literally can shift back and forth 3 times and lose all my spells level 4 and below.
I do have items that give 2x level 3 spell and 1x level 4 spell.

Re: Polymorph/shapechange bugs
That's going to be the result of how bonus sorcerer spell slots work, unfortunately.
Unlike wizards, druids & clerics who have actual individual spell slots which can be 'preserved' in shapechange by adding +spellslot bonuses to shapechange skins, spontaneous spellcasters (sorc, spirit shaman, favoured soul) merely receive a numerical digit bonus applied to their casts per day. If you remove bonus spell slot items after resting, it reduces that numerical digit (casts per day) by the corresponding amount. Adding spell slot items to polymorph creature skins will not increase casts per day because only by resting will the increase actually be taken into account, unlike prepared spellcasters who actually 'retain' their bonus slots and the spells memorised in them.
I do not think it is at all possible to get around this as even giving them a 50 CHA score while polymorphed isn't going to boost/retain their casts per day because they will only 'increase' after a rest.

Re: Polymorph/shapechange bugs
I haven't noticed this on my Spirit Shaman shifter, but I'll check tonight. Because maybe from casting Owls Insight, spell slots are preserved? I'll report back.

It's very likely that Owl's Insight is preserving what otherwise may have been lost spellslots, Steve.

If it is the case, then there IS a possible workaround for Sorcerers!

But that is a LOT of charisma, sorcs would need a charisma level of that spell with the polyfix.

Loaded up my SS, and cast Owls Insight, then shifted like a hundred times, and had NO SPELLS LOST.
I dismissed Owls Insight, then shifted another 10 times, and had NO SPELLS LOST.

Do you have any +spirit shaman bonus spell slot items though, Steve? That is the specific cause here (not casting stat).

Re: Polymorph/shapechange bugs
Nope on the spell bonus items.
But its a pity that using bonus spell Items will have the effect of deducting a spell from your total, with each shift.
Essentially, that means no bonus spell slots from Items for a spontaneous casting shifter!

Re: Polymorph/shapechange bugs
Oooh I found something interesting.
Whenever I manually remove an item that gives bonus spell slots, I lose 1 spell from each affected spell level.
I put the item back on, no change, but take it off, I lose those spells, and keeps going until zero.
So..... That seems to be a bit of a bug no?
