Northlander Hewing vs. One Weapon On a Melee Warlock

Which is better? I'm debating between these two weapon mode feats.
Malign Ashmeddai, tiefling and "Fellblade"

Ilzsa Murnyethara, tiefling and "Hexmage"

I would say it depends on the STR total for the build.
