Years spent... searching, waiting, stalking. The dark ones... the gates to hells on Faerun... have been found. I have spent forty-three years mapping the caverns, but I have found them. I have found the way. The doors to sweet vengeance have been opened!

Oh, how I long to place the shaft of these arrows deep into their blackened hearts. I will watch them writhe in pain; their eyelids squeezed so tight that the tears are forced out the corners. How I relish this desire and marinate in the delight that this dream will soon be realized. May the caverns be filled with sweet, sweet crimson.

A Battle to the End

Kelor travelled south along the Trade Way, running through the nearby forest and brush. Frequently his silent jaunt would come to an abrupt end and he would come to a dead and motionless stop in order to listen to the sounds nearby, or observe travelers. Watching a great group advance to the Temple of Bhaal, he stood quietly scouting with his piercing eyes. He spotted several elves in the group... even a green elf like himself was among the group of humans with smaller companions.

Not one to risk his life unnecessarily, he continues watching the group battle wave after wave of undead until finally... the lich appeared. The evil creature shot lightning from his finger tips and in one fell swoop, took Cal'ethil and Cathenya to the ground. While the Lich concentrated his efforts on the rest of the living, Kelor went in to drag the corpses of his kinfolk out of the decaying fortress. With the battle still raging, he reentered the great gates of the fallen temple. Sliding against the walls and dodging errant fireballs, he finally made it to the east corner of the exterior... but he was too late. A great Balor appeared and with an incredible firey flash, he ignited the group and Kelor as well. The wall that would have shielded him was just... too far away. His charred body fell motionless behind the shrubs which he had used to cover his advance only moments earlier.

The battle raged and how it ended is unknown to him, but it took nearly a day and a half for his kinfolk to locate his charred remains. Thanks to a good hunt by Auriel and another, Kelor Sendd lives once more, though a terrible scar remains. Her healing hands were skilled enough to bring him back from the icy grasp of death, but not all flesh had returned to its previous condition. The right side of his face is mangled leathery tissue, haphazardly draped over his skull. Though the wounds have technically healed, this permanent reminder of the battle shall remain with him always.

Thoughit is possible... that Shevarash would have wanted it this way.

Recovery --- Cloaks and Blades

Weeks later, Kelor can finally travel once more. It is not long until Tymora apparantly curses his existance. While exiting Cloakwood, Kelor stumbles into some bushes near a conflict between some wizards and warriors. He has been catiously approaching to bear witness to the events after seeing a great Balor summoned... the same creature that had caused his recent and prolonged stay at the settlement.

Though his skills in stealth are great, someone else's eyes are far sharper. He is discovered by scout and quickly cut down with several powerfully accurate blows.

...

His body lies behind a rock near the battle for almost three days. On day two a rogue discovered his corpse and relieved him of his entire coinpurse. A bard discovered him at the same time and refused to use a raise dead scroll as the individual had no love for the elves.

On the third day, a mage arrived and against her better judgement case Animate Dead on his corpse. Kelor... is... less-than-living. (not public knowledge)
