Constitution or strength drain. Not very useful against ~50% or more of the server mobs, but they're still cool effects.
The Blackstaff effect might also be nice now that dispel has been fixed. Again, not very useful against most of the server, but really cool when it is useful.

Staff of the magi
On hit shocking grasp
The damage is low (1d4) however it gives the spells visual effects. Lightning shoots out everywhere. I can only imagine a monk using it.

Absolutely still cool... It does work on some enemies in PvE so not totally worthless.Deathgrowl wrote:Constitution or strength drain. Not very useful against ~50% or more of the server mobs, but they're still cool effects.
I have seen a Holy Sword Wand used in Vaults of the Dead and the on hit dispel still does work so I imagine Blackstaff does as well in some pretty high level area's.Deathgrowl wrote:The Blackstaff effect might also be nice now that dispel has been fixed. Hey man, full points for flavor, regardless of the lack of actual benefit... You're still hitting someone and zapping them at the same time with a visual supporting it (even if it is just about the equivalent of rubbing your socks on the carpet and then touching them)Laughingman wrote: Staff of the magi

That Kukri sounds great, what's it called? Is it available in a shop?chad878262 wrote: - Assassin that doesn't have HiPS yet (comes late in the build) uses two of those Kukri's +2 EB, +2 Fire damage and on hit: Blindness 25%, DC: 14, 1-3 rounds. When the blindness lasts longer than a round death attack seems to fire, but most enemies don't last long enough for that...

Heads up, it doesn't remove strength damage, only makes the weapon 0d10.

Not sold in shops, but also not all that rare a drop. Appears on Mudds often, usually for between 5-10k...IMO they're worth more than that, but that's just my opinion. I forget what they're called, but I'll take a look tomorrow and post the name.Quidix wrote:That Kukri sounds great, what's it called? Thanks Electric Mayhem & Chad!
Has the Flaming Bastard been mentioned yet? Seems to have it all, but does require exotic prerequisite (+4 enhancement, 1d6 fire damage, on hit stun DC18 5% - 2 rounds)
