Yep. If you've successfully 'Heard' a character, their black silhouette will appear but you cannot target them with any spell or effect, although you can technically lob AoEs in their general direction.

In fact, I consider it metagaming to even 'know' where they are located. You heard a sound, you did not see anything at all. PnP you have to roll listen 20 points above the MS check to exactly pinpoint the location of the noise, and that still doesn't let you see anything. Plenty of players love to metagame Listen mechanics as Spot, when it sure as hell ain't. The few that don't are amazing to RP with, though!

Its not metagaming to know where the target is. Sound has depth and direction. You dont know who or what it is, but you do know where the sound came from and you can RP accordingly.

Yeap. Like i said, you know where the sound comes from, but you dont who or even what it is.

I think there must be an option to attack those detected by scent or listen. Yes, when we are talking about detecting non-hostile creatures this is fair that we don't know exactly who is there, but in the fight we do know who are we fighting against, so if the fight begins and the opponent sneaks right infront of my nose, but fails move silently check - why can't I start attacking him/her when I posses blind fight feat?

Nobody in their right mind will mess with the sneak/detect mechanics, even if your suggestion makes sense

blind fight only works against concealment, stealth is not concealment

"full" concealment is only 50%

stealth would be 100% - even invisibility is only 50% concealment so blind fight does work there

to get a bonus against stealth you would need blind sense like dragons have, which is basically anti stealth
