Dervish Ac and a new armor

always stacks with my dervish ac +1 as this armor is considered light


I just bought a new one
Mithral Breastplate +2
ac 5
dex mod 5
magic ac 2

my Dervish ac gets desabled sometimes out of nowhere... no need to change area or sleep, I just swap an Item on me and it gets desabled

I need to turn the game off then restart it in order to get my dervish ac back

New update...
I just logged in with my old toon Daishi and...

my armor is chainmail Mithral wich had never had any problem

and the dervish ac dont stack now

so what I think is that since new patch there are problems for armors to check on the mithral property. since breastplate and chainmail are usually medium I think someting makes the mithral not apply to go light.


that makes me think that...
maybe it would be a good Idea to check if other armor property stack or work now as well

ok new updates
my built it Dervish / tempest / ranger / sorcerer

so

I just put a ring on me and my dervish ac got back on lol

then I tried to unable tempest defense (weild two weapons) and then my dervish ac got out again. I tried to go back and forth on that way so sheeth and weilding two weapons

dervish ac broken again
tempest defense not working

again I think the problems comes from the (Mithral) property of the armor since without it those two armors are medium. but this is my guess

XD I could make it work it all... but... a big BUT


I was fooling around with my inventory then

I got an item off my dervish ac got back ac 35
I put it on dervish goes out ac 34 whatever item I put on or off it is like a 0/1 switch
If I get lets say ring off then belt it will be like disable / unable
then I put them on again disable / unable

illarious


then I tried to do it with this dervish defense so how to put it back. hum...

well ! I found a way !

I have a belt that its only ability is spell resistance 20 so I get it off then I put my two weapons on hands then put my belt back on and ... AC 37 so
dervish ac and tempest defence works

only thing is this is just a way to "bypass" the bug now.

each time you sleep or sheeth weapons you need to redo the whole thing

Dervish armor bonus is a buff that works only with light armor, it disappears sometimes (when you die or relog for example). Resting or re-equipping armor helps usually.

Hi!

I have been playing here for a while now, mainly with my Dervish/Tempest.
I would like to confirm that both dervish AC and tempest AC seem to be unreliable since last update.
I have both dervish and tempest AC at +2, and wearing a robe.
After login if I have no weapon equipped both dervish and tempest AC are disabled. Equipping one weapon manually in the main hand slot switches dervish AC on (+2), equipping another manually in the offhand seems to not do anything (AC still at +2 only, unsure which one is working).
However if I use a hotkey to equip both weapons at once I see no AC change.
As Scorpius already noted unequipping a worn item (eg. from head slot) causes both dervish and tempest AC to switch on.
A workaround is to unequip both weapons, take off an item, then equip both weapons (via hotkey) and take the item back on. This method activates both dervish and tempest AC, but works only with the hotkey.

Edit: Rest doesn't have an effect as I see, but dervish dance seems to disable both of them.

If you are looking at only the numbers on the Sheet, sometimes the Sheet lists incorrect data.

You need to compare to actual numbers from the Combat Log.

Just went to Troll Claws to test.
My AC was down by 4, and they were hitting me with attack results in that range.

Noticed some other things.
When dervish and tempest AC are missing, activating dervish dance switches them on. But if dervish and tempest AC are working activating dance switches them off.

When dervish and tempest AC seem to be disabled on the sheet, the small icons (bonus AC and also bonus AB for Tempest) next to the top right character picture are also missing.

Known cause and fixed now but you'll have to wait for next update to get the fix though, sorry.
