Disguise Self Spell Streches out my PC

Unread post by Tekill »

Each time my elf casts Disguise Self, it streches her out. She becomes super tall and very skinny. Even if I pick say dwarf as the race I am disguising as.
For now what I am going to do is to keep the spell in my spell slots but not actually cast it. It will be assumed that it has been cast but to avoid getting streched out I wont actually cast the spell.
Any chance of looking into this bug. I would feel better if I could actually cast the spell instead of pretending.

It's not actually a bug, it's a 'feature' of the spell (and the mundane Disguise ability) and a somewhat irritating one at that. The amount of times people have sent me a tell, "How come you're so tall?!"

Hence my distant wishes that Disguise (self; other) spells could operate more like Polymorph, giving the disguiser a selection of preset racial appearances to disguise as.

I love this feature. How else do I get the best seats in Gloura's? Also, in need of a saddle for my spider.
