Several hours has passed when the diminutive elven priestess returns to the temple after leaving the same building with Brother Ameris earlier.

She asks for a book that is then brought to her. She takes the heavy and large leather bound tome and with some effort hugs it against her chest, making her way out of the temple after thanking the priest in duty.

Announcement is made that the postponed memorial service for Sister Adolina, priestess of the Adorned of Ilmater, will take place on 30 Tarsakh 1353. A respectful atmosphere is to be maintained.

Memorial Service

On 30 Tarsakh 1353 the memorial service for Sister Adolina was held. The congregation gathered to remember Sister Adolina and her life, hearing a sermon from the priest Ameris Santraeger. Members of the congregation spoke of their own memories of Adolina and a song of farewell was sung by the renowned bard Herran Hymn.

A sealed missive addressed to "Miss Amber Lockheart and Miss Jocelyn Huckabee" arrives at the Temple of Ilmater.
The point of origin shows as "Office of the Guide, Candlekeep."

A letter arrives back at the Temple of Ilmater, and its contents shared with those who ask after Ameris Santraeger.

Brothers and Sisters

It is with regret that I write this missive. I had promised to answer letters sent to Berdusk but,
alas, my time of rest there proves short. I must once again depart that place, and the family therein, having made provision for their safety. It is with heavy heart I set about a duty which,
while one our Lord would look well upon, also satisfies bonds of blood and family.

I do not know when or if I shall be contactable again. Until then, Ilmater bless your efforts, and I will remember you all in my prayers, each day and night.

Whilst sitting at the mess tables in the Temple hall, enjoying a warm bowl of pumpkin soup, Louise overhears talk of a letter arriving from Brother Ameris.

Turning back and addressing the pair in discussion.
"May I see the letter please?"

As she reads the carefully scribed wording that has travelled many miles in the land. She thinks fondly of a time when he was here, remembering many of his passionate sermons delivered to gatherings large and small.

She looks up from the letter with a warm smile, and peers forward, out of the Temple, past the buildings, imagining that she is flying high above the city and looking down at it. She observes in her minds eye that the city is going on as it has always, but still full of pain, suffering, injustice whereever she looks.

With a deep inhale and a long drawn exhale, she comes back to the small room in the Temple. And quietly says to herself.

"There is much work to be done. I will endure."

After spending many hours locked in the Radiant Heart office, Althea Hartell emerges with a stack of flyers. She heads south and begins posting them along her way.

A figure clad in grey enters the Temple of Ilmater. Pulling back his hood, he greets the clergy warmly, apparently known to all but the new priestess behind the counter. He goes then to spend several minutes before the painting of Sister Adolina, before heading upstairs with his gear.

A sealed scroll, bearing the markings of the Moonlady of the Halls of Inner Light, was delivered to the temple this morning.

Two members of the Radiant Heart - Grand Knight Eldarian Al'maire and Chaplain Simon Atcharn - may have been seen alongside a member of the temple of Mystra - Paladin of the Mystic Fire Nezkreal Sezifear - in the last day within the city.

A common destination seemed to thread their paths together, this being the temple of the Broken God in Baldur's Gate where they congregated to offer wards in the spell of Magic Circle Against Evil throughout each of the rooms in the temple. The magic seemed powerful and extended into the long hours of the night to allow ease for the slumbering citizens. The Lathanderite and the blue-cowled monk also took it upon themselves to stand guard for the Mystran against any unwanted threats while they spread their goodwill and aid.

Words of comfort were also presented from Eldarian to sweep among those that yearned for refuge from the plaguing of certain dreams.

They might be spied for days going forward to tread there, offering the same protection and respite to the people in need.

Lately a man in green elaborate robe have emerged from the Temple of Mystra and made his way to the Temple of The Crying God. He would appear just in time, thought not regulary, before the wards placed by his other brethren would need to be renewed. Inroducing himself to all within the building as Halron Amaryun. The bearded wizard makes conversation to all curious of his presence and explains the spell should there be need. Only in times of casting Magic Circle Against Evil he would require some quietness to concentrate. When done with his process he would leave and return to the Temple of Mystra the way he came.

However frequent (or infrequent) the local farm-boy many knew as Ardem Yay happened to come to the temple, the young man has not been heard from for some time now. As the days turned into tendays, no word would be heard of the Ilmateri trainee's fate. Sendings would remain unanswered and all scrying attempts to discern his location would fail.

Following news of the attack, Thedran would come rushing back to the temple. He would spend that night and well into the following morning helping with the fallen and comforting those he knows and new faces alike. Helping with the funerals of the fallen if allowed. In the following night, he would be seen making quiet patrols of the area between the temple and orphanage on a regular basis, quietly sharing snacks and quiet discussion with the passing guards.
When not patrolling the sound of his lute often carried into the night, the quiet song a soothing near lullaby in the hours of darkness.

A messenger departs the gates of the Chapterhouse of the Radiant Heart, on foot, treading a path via well-traveled road and through the farmlands toward Baldur's Gate. He hails the City Watch as he passes within, bearing a letter sealed in gold, bound in gilded ribbon. The impression of the wax bears the sigil of Lord Eldarian Al'maire, and it is his handwriting that indicates the addressee upon the outside of the parchment. The missive makes its way to the temple of Ilmater, and the messenger leaves it with a Sister before exiting into the busy streets once more.
