non transferable items

How do I get rid of non-transferable items?
I have a minor spike trap kit in my inventory that will not let me put it in the trash can. I also have a set of hide armour that my character has never worn which has a sale value of 0gp but also cannot be put in the trash. The armour is quite heavy and I would like to be rid of it.

It sounds to me like you've acquired some genuine cursed items.

The way to get rid of that, is by getting a mage to cast "Remove curse" on them. That should make them transferable. If that doesn't work, try to catch a DM in game to help you with removing the items!

Or, if you are lucky, you can find a potion of remove curse,

or if you have UMD you can just go buy a scroll... There are also some boots that allow for casting remove curse 1/day, but also require UMD unless cleric (in which case you have the spell).

And count yourself lucky you didn't find a cursed full armour. Poor low strength char.
