Dusty Tome

I have a dusty and i tried to use it and rolled a 1

failed. so i let another player try but it just says to him "you already tried to read this"

but he hasnt...

waited for reset and tried again with the same result.. attained a level and tried again.. same result.

i get that i cannot try again, but the other guy should be alright.

have not had this problem before with any dusty before.
