Ah thanks for all the input. Is forced pvp something that happens regularly in epic levels? My highest toon is 21 currently and I have yet to come across it.

Lol youre really trying to start some drama arent you.rukkerz wrote:Ah thanks for all the input. Is forced pvp something that happens regularly in epic levels? My highest toon is 21 currently and I have yet to come across it.
Forced PVP is technically against the rules as you should be provided an RP out. Getting harrassed and even maybe griefed does happen, and some people have very strong opinions, but if you dont want it to be a part of your characters story then Walk Unseen and Leaps and Bounds should have you covered as far as PVP goes
I think their more talking about PVP because if youre power building its usually to be stronger than other chars then to be stronger than the content.

I am aiming to just destroy content at the moment because I haven't seen all of it.
That being said, heres my Warlock Cleric BG Build

And here is my pure 30 "conlock" as another option.

gets kinda feat starved taking the Fey Feats and doesn't seem as strong as a splash of BG or Cleric or Dragonslayer would be. missing Shield Prof, Blind Fight, and ICE

Re: Requests for Warlock build
You get that 6/Cold Iron Damage Resistance from your stock Warlock levels, which doesn't stack with the 9/-Epic Damage Reduction bought with epic feats. Also, if you can pick Dark Premonition as one of your Dark Invocations, you will basically get infinite casts of 15/Alchemical Silver Damage Reduction up to 150 points.rukkerz wrote:I am aiming to just destroy content at the moment because I haven't seen all of it.

Therefore, you could actually let go of the Epic Damage Reduction feats in favour of some extra Blast Dice or perhaps Fast Healing II to increase your natural regeneration. Instead of having that regenerative cloak, you could freely use a Cloak of Shimmering for the spell resistance it provides. Most mob casters tend to have somewhat low caster levels on this server.
I have a gnomish Fey Lock, and I will imagine that eventually the lowish AC will form an issue... I took Toughness with Steadfast alongside of the Fey Feats.rukkerz wrote:And here is my pure 30 "conlock" as another option.

But you are playing a human here and therefore you could do the following changes:
Luck of Heroes => Shield Proficiency
Improved Critical (Ranged Touchy Attacks) => Combat Expertise
Dark Transient => Improved Combat Expertise
An unenchanted light shield covers for the one point of AC provided by Luck of Heroes, and you get +4 AC from any +4 Light Shield. As others have said, the 5% Arcane Spell Failure chance is tolerable. After all, once your BAB gets to 10-15~ your chance to land an Eldritch Blast is pretty much that 90.25%~ per cast.
Improved Critical does increase your damage output, but only against targets that are immune to critical hits. Therefore, the +3 AC can help you more.
As for Dark Transient, in the long run it is just a quality of life feat. Your haste lasts slightly longer, which is a problem that gets naturally solved with more levels of Warlock. Therefore, the potential of having +6 AC is a feat better spent.
But if you want to keep both Luck of Heroes and Improved Critical, you should atleast swap Dark Transient to Shield Proficiency. After all, the +5 AC from a +4 light shield is a nice thing to have alongside with Defensive Casting to deny Attacks of Opportunity.
But you should do fine with both builds as they are. Warlock is basically the only base class in this game that can make do with '8' in all their ability scores.
