Hello, does picking the cavalier kit essential mean that you cannot have any abilities that uses your turn undead casts to use such as DM or EDM and the such?

Which means that a Cavalier (Paladin) build that leans towards Strength and Wisdom is a sound option. High strength gives AB and Damage, while decen enough wisdom nets you the spell slots to maintain your selection of buffs.
