The Sarvol-veldruk is finding out the hard way that enlisting anything but your righteous and perfect race is blasphemy! Usstan knew the moment we set out to conduct the Surface Raid that it would be crushed by your will. These fools know nothing of wielding your favor. It is that alone is what kept me upright while the rest choked on their own blood (the half drow died first as expected).
Usstan keeps giving Nargazul discretion with regard to decision making, not to empower him, but to show him that it is through the will and favor of Lolth that we find our strength and discernment. An emmissary from Bregan D'aerthe came to your sanctuary as you well know. The jaluk called Blackblade surprised me a bit, as he stands out above many I have encountered here thus far. He knows what it truly means to be Drow, I believe. Because it was not obvious whether lies or truth, or a mixture came from his lips. Regardless, when speaking to him I admit it felt a bit like home. Bregan has returned to its' rightful posture as an independent agent (or so it claims) and is willing to turn our mutual goals into one another. I feel a test of this sentiment is in order, so I shall construct an illustration soon.
I beg of you to bring Yath to this city! Schezalle and Baless are loyal and faithful (as long as you keep me in your favor), but I need Priestesses who wield your power! Aunrae is barely competent as a female, and allows the field to play her, rather the other way around. It is becoming obvious that she cares nothing for your doctrine and is merely entertaining herself. I imposed upon Chalindra to take up the training to become one of your Unholy Priestesses, but she appears set in her way.
