Basil's Mushrooms completion vs. inventory space
The Basil's Mushrooms quest (from Beregost Interiors, accessed from The Risen Phoenix Tavern and Inn transition) encounters a completion issue if you have a full inventory when interacting with the mushrooms. As the Exotic Mushroom cannot enter your inventory, it immediately drops to the ground. Even if you drop another item in your inventory to then pick up the last, thirteenth, mushroom for the turn-in requirement, it doesn't trigger the completion of the quest. Thus, if you return to Basil after that, despite having thirteen Exotic Mushrooms in your inventory, you are unable to complete the quest.

Re: Basil's Mushrooms completion vs. inventory space
If I remember correctly, waiting for server reset and going back to the woods and picking up a 14th mushroom should proc the quest completion.
It is in fact possible to spend 13 server resets and picking up the same mushroom every time it "respawns."
It is also possible to pick 12 mushrooms and sell it off to someone too lazy/unable to find all 13 of them on their own. Decent way to make money as a peaceful druid/ranger at level 30 that is sort of acceptable for RP.

Re: Basil's Mushrooms completion vs. inventory space
Since I've had the server go down mid-quest before and then gotten new Exotic Mushrooms from previously explored mushroom nodes, I figured that would be a potential work-around for the issue. Still, an additional check for inventory contents while talking to Basil may also fix this edge case.

.....or just leave 'some' more space in your pack
Having a full inventory leads to many problems, like item dropping on log-in.
