After the recent arrival of the two pack lizards from Ched Nasad, a large quantity of new merchandise was added to the seasonal stocklist.

From among the throng of passersby in Sshamath, a sverfneblin slinks into view for long enough to pass a tightly-rolled missive to whomever among the Black Claws employ would be available to deliver it up the chain of command. She pauses for no longer than is necessary, and if questioned, replies in quiet voice that she simply wishes to conduct fair business unaccosted by the ebb and flow of local politics.

A pair of pinkish-red eyes belonging to a rather richly attired female drow with hip-length whitish-yellow hair eventually scanned the page. She made some drowsign to a nearby 7th Circle guard who nodded and spoke to the svirfneblin in her stead.

"You can tell your mistress to bring her money with her next time."

The fact the feminine pronoun was emphasised would only be an indicator that this drow mistress either did not understand or did not care about the fact that svirfneblin society was not a matriarchy.

After the prompt execution of one of her slaves, a message was sent to the svirfneblin representative that had come by the stall some cycles prior.

One of the ugliest Duergar come by and ask,

"Me heard you have a war axe for those pesky spellcaster, me want to silence them, me is fet up whit those magic sting they send me.''

The duergar is answered by one of the bugbear slaves at the stall.

"You see price. Pay plaklas, dwarf, and it yours."

In other news, a stabilisation in supply of gems means the Black Claws Emporium has increased its demand for precious stones, and hence increased its prices.

Jabbress Schezalle had not been seen in Sshamath's Bazaar for a number of cycles now, although her stall remained under the careful oversight of temporary 7th Circle mercantile contractors. Rumours flit about suggesting the bardess had identified a potential cure for her severed vocal cords and has gone off to find it.

Due to an unstable supply and lack of demand, the Black Claws Emporium is no longer selling wands.

A tall, muscular Earth Genasi walked directly to the stall carrying a heavy looking bag on his shoulder.
He dropped the bag down on the counter, the clattering of gold coins turned almost all the heads in a 50 yard radius.
"Here is exactly 167500 gold for Stoic Armor, Eyes of The Eagle, and Bands of Iron Monkey. Now lets get this deal over with."

A female drow reclining upon luxurious cushions at the rear of the stall smirked before addressing the foreigner in Undercommon.

"Finally. Someone who knows what they want and has the exact means of getting it. That you weren't mugged on the way is just a bonus."

The earth genasi showed up in front of the stall again today with another bag on his shoulder.
"hmm... was hoping somebody would try to rob me, well anyways" He shrugs "Here is what I want to purchase this time: Ring of Arcane Magic, and Trapper's Delight. Here is 90 thousand gold"

One of the 7th Circle guards would answer for the absent drowess.

"Your order has been noted, however it will not be fulfilled until the Jabbress returns from an inspection of one of her assets."

The Mistress of the Black Claws Emporium has returned from wherever she had been and her company has resumed normal trading.

A few new items were added to the seasonal stocklist.

After its owner had been absent from Sshamath for some time now, what remained of the Black Claws Mercantile Company was seized by its creditors in the 7th Circle, dismantled and disbanded. Whatever happened to its proprietor will forever remain a mystery.
