At least if I post threads, that detracts whatever momentum might be brought to the 9001st "Let's make permadeath mandatory thread", so I am still accomplishing something. Forums, if left alone will inevitably spawn a "Buff paladins" or a "Make permadeath mandatory" post. Although I guess I took the mantle of "buff paladins" of yore.

Fun fact. People dissed at the "buff paladins" posts and yet, paladins finally got buffed.

People dissed at "Dragon Disciple will never ever be implemented. Ever." We got dragon disciple.

I did send a few PMs in directly. I also encouraged others to make PMs as well.

A character belongs only to their player, and only them. And only the player may decide what happens.

The last 'make-permadeath-mandatory' topic that wasn't instantly shot down was some ten years ago. You are fighting a battle that does not exist anymore. I do not even recall the last topic on permadeath.

I'm old school, but i'm in the mind set of just logging in and having fun, whether it is Rping, Grinding, or just sitting by the fire afk. Having character goals and working with DM to accomplish gives a good sense of Accomplishment? Or am i crazy....
