Beckon the Frozen and Animal Companion

Does Beckon the Frozen apply on Animal Companions?
I note that that wiki states that Augment Summoning doesn't apply to Animal Companions.
But Beckon the Frozen stacks on top of Augment Summoning.

and its natural attacks deal an additional 1d6 points of cold damage
What is meant by 'natural' here? Do summons with weapons get this benefit?
