One bright day, an elf in a purple dress displays interest in the Rapier of Encouragement! She introduces herself as Mareth, and mentions the possibility of using it to research some kind of enchantment transfer process, seemingly very attached to the mundane rapier at her belt. Despite the collapsible appraiser's lenses visible hanging from clips behind her ears, she doesn't seem inclined to try to haggle down from the listed price.

She adresses the armored elf.
