If i remember correctly, when using DA with no SA dice, you wont get the over head messa "Sneak Attack" however the damage is applied normally.
For the DA paralysis to trigger, you need to make certain that the mob is not in "combat mode".
chad answered it, it wasn't triggering at all even though I was stealthed, but it was a range issue. I assumed ranged SA would trigger from anywhere (wrongly) didn't realize you had to be pretty close for that to trigger. Works fine, just not what I expected.
