Frost Giant King - help me understand

Hello! I realize you want this to be a super bad ass boss monster but both the king and a rando frost giant warrior were hitting me on 2s and 3s at some point. Is this an ability of theirs? If so what is it, as I'd really like to get it for my character too.

They went from missing on 15s to hitting on 2s and 3s inexplicably and I paid w/ my life in the case of the king but the warrior played that little game on a couple of hits too.

Is this working as intended because its kinda super cheesy to be all buffed up with high AC and then have someone just carve through it as if you aren't wearing armor. (and I wasn't even knocked down either)

Unfortunately not because I was panicking watching my health suddenly dropping by massive amounts and was busy trying (unsuccessfully) to stay alive. But since the F.Giant Warrior also had this nifty ability I can easily get a screenshot w/o having to face down the king again I think.

Either way, I'm pretty sure someone knows what this 'ability' is as it happened on more than one frost giant out there so surely it can't be a one-off / bug / glitch.

I n the future, expand the combat log while in the fugue and even shot archers the combat went from normal to bugged.

Possible, but I'm not 100% convinced as I did get dispelled a few times and did rebuff. Also in the case of the FG Warrior that wouldn't make sense (unless all FGs can dispel / disjoin). There was a FG Mystic there so he -might- have dispelled me but I dunno. In the chaos of combat it is hard to watch all that in real time.

I will go there again against my better judgement and get some screencaps if that happens. The FG Warrior even if I was fully debuffed I don't think should be hitting me on a 2 unless their AB is like 38+ by chance? Because it would need to be.

I'll keep my char sheet window open this time but I think I was still at 50+ AC during all this. The server was lagging a bit not sure if that matters but the FG Warrior would 'pause' and then a flurry of attacks would come like 6-8 all at once, those odd 2s that hit were in that flurry.

11/3 EDIT: Just a quick follow up, I -did- go back against my better judgement and danced with Frost Giants for about 45 minutes. I did not see this aberrant number scheme again. So being much more in tune w/ my open character tab and dispels that may have hit me, it is likely that you were correct and I got dispelled w/o realizing it. My totally stripped AC is low enough (as i found out) that with the FG AB of 35-36 they could hit me on single digit numbers.

They were hitting me on 2 and 3 before which they should NOT have been able to do even w/ me wearing no wards but they may have hit me w/ a debuff of some sort as well something like a Taunt / Feint / etc.
