Make Empty Magic Potion Bottles stack

Unread post by amber91 »

Not sure if this has been suggested before, but making empty magic potion bottles stack would be consistent with every other potion/elixir stacking. It also helps a lot with inventory management for alchemists so empty bottles don't take up 2 pages of inventory space.

I tried this once before, if I recall there was an issue that when you make them stackable then crafting a potion eats the whole stack. Might be some way to work around that I'm not aware of, though.

Same with scrolls, I believe. The crafter must split the stack when crafting. Totally worth the small workaround for the ability to stack bottles if it's possible.

Hmm, with scrolls, I can cast on a stack of 10, and it will only use 1. It seems to behave as expected, unless this isn't consistent for everyone?

If someone fixed it for scrolls, could maybe a similar fix be applied to empty potion bottles, allowing stacking and use 1 at a time?

Well. I guess I can stop splitting my scrolls to scribe, eh?

I too have not had any issues with using stacks of blank scrolls.

And would like to offer my vote of support (what little it's worth :P) in favour of stackable empty magic potion bottles.
