It was still the best betrayal moment I've ever had on this server. I needed several moments to register what had just happened, lol

VERY well played, I did not see it coming from that angle AT ALL.

I don't know what just happened to Mae, but I hope it lived up to all of her RP and that you enjoyed it!

I dunno whose idea it was to put an ellipses above our heads when we're typing, but that is brilliant. VERY nice touch. It's helpful to know when someone is in the middle of typing out a response so we can wait before moving onto another topic, and it helps us figure out if someone is engaging with us or has ninja-AFKed. Excellent idea, thanks!

I plugged it into the module but credit and kudos for the original script and assets goes to ComeAndSee, it can be found at https://neverwintervault.org/project/nw ... bubble-vfx

Glad to hear you like it!

I mean, how often have we typed out a response and hit "enter," only to realize the other character wasn't done talking?

It just feels more organic; when someone is making a long speech, our character would ICly be aware of it. But before this update, we'd have no OOC awareness of the long speech until the wall of text pops onto our screen. Now we OOCly know the other person is typing, and we can choose to hold off on responding ICly. I think it improves the flow of RP.

Such a good idea, ugh.

I just ran through the revised New Player Tutorial Dungeon, and I have to say that it's very well done. Kudos to Rad-Icarus for creating this for us. I was just really impressed.

So thanks for the efforts here, Rad-Icarus! This is a really wonderful tool for introducing new players to our community!

I would like to make a heartfelt thanks to the DM Team. Being a new player here, I ended up joining the Everwatch guild and due to this an incredible RP universe unfolded for me. Over the past couple of months I had to page the DM Team about a thousand times, ranging from broken mechanics, bugs, and mostly requests for RP for the guild. They never got impatient or upset with me. They always responded back, sometimes it took about a week, but always a response. It makes a new player feel welcomed. Just wanted to voice this here as a prelude to the upcoming holiday season. :)

A warm thanks to the Troupe of orden (Sar'cyn), Gardhain (Romanda Wonderstein) and Faeryn (Amaerys). It was a shame you didn't get to see the finale I had planned. Perhaps another time!

Major shout out to DM Golem for coming up with a creative solution for our scouting plan, and then staying up WAY past his bed time to get us through it. Don't know how the others felt, but I know Quintus and I had a blast with it :D

Thanks for your forum work this weekend, Zanniej. Now that I'm only able to check the forum by mobile for the next few weeks, I was pleasantly surprised to see its improved look on my phone!

Having the calendar back, and the signature block improvements (thanks Steve), is an extra bonus!

Rock on!

I'll echo the thank-you to the DMs who did the big mega event on Saturday! Certainly not easy pulling it off with the crowd that arrived but you managed it.

I wanted to also take the opportunity thank DM Chant for setting up the Palace Ballroom on Sunday and for being part of some of the RP leading up to it and going forward. I know you couldn't stay on Sunday past set-up but it meant a lot for the guild and others involved that we could do something like this.

The players of Iris and Kaylee also deserve a thank you for their work with the TKL instruments. I greatly admire it and I know it's not easy fiddling around to get actual music in the game.

And of course, a big thank you to all of the players who showed up to the Midwinter Charity Ball. It was much busier than expected, a welcome surprise but I know it was pretty chaotic now and then. If I or my character failed to respond to anything, it probably just got eaten by the chat window. Feel free to seek me out for any RP to pick up on things later.

Special mention goes to Dural who spent the whole event standing at the door being a bouncer... I promise I'll never host an event with tickets ever again!
