So with the new forms for Word of Changing, I was wondering if other Spell Focus feats in Transformation will apply to the Warlock invocation?
The Word of Changing page states already: "Ability Focus - Invocations gives +1 AC and +1 AB when shapechanged."
But I wondered if the Focus, Greater, Epic line of feats for Transformation/Polymorph would do a Warlock any good??

Yes, the spell focus would help too with AC. I can't really see what build would be better by including them, but if there's such a build then maybe this needs to be fixed

Re: Word of Changing Feat Bonuses
The one downside (!) is that a Warlock would likely have to take 3 levels in a divine/arcane casting Class, in order to actually unlock the Spell Focus feats...unless they unlock for Warlocks with Level 1 invocations.

Re: Word of Changing Feat Bonuses
When it says "100% Spell Failure" while shifted (Which is like the Wizzy Shapechange) does that actually mean Invocations do not work? Because Invocations aren't actually spells, they are innate abilities (hence that 'at will' usage) if you follow the RAW in D&D.
Just wanted clarification if that basically actually means 'no magic stuff at all works' vs. "spells" which would only affect a Warlock if they are multi-classed essentially.

I'm 99% sure when in form from Word of Changing, all Invocations use is disabled. Although, all invocations/spells (buffs) cast BEFORE changing shape, will apply (which is why there is an explicit mention that Hideous Blow will continue to work in the Form...as well as all other mechanics related to Polymorphing).
