Greenest Questions for DMs

Would it be possible to get an update on the current lay-of-the-land in Greenest?

To be clear, I am not expecting any secrets, extensive details, etc. What I am curious in is what a common visitor may notice by staying at the Inn a few nights, fishing, interacting with the locals, etc. You average information, etc.

In particular:

- Is Dharva Scatterheart in charge? I couldnt find any era-appropriate lore references (online - book search is tonight), but it looks like she is in charge later on. How does she maintain control? Well liked? Is this under the influence of any polity of the Sword Coast?

- How does the village feel about outsiders/visitors? Adventurers?

- What is the local economy like? Any sort of standard import/exports, crafts, etc?

- Prominent Faiths?

- Prominent NPCs? The dwarf that minds the Inn, he seems cool. I think he and Dharva are the only named folks?

- Any recent goings-on that we should know about?

As we continue to further develop our presence and the RP in the village, it will help to know what sort of canvas we are painting upon.

Interesting facts about Dharva Scatterheart:

Dharva Scatterheart was the would-be-queen of Greenfields in 1372 DR. She enjoyed the open space, freedom from taxation, and the caravans that regularly pass through. Allied with the Shadow Thieves, Dharva had established a small town called Greenest on the trail that led to Berdusk. She was not particularly happy to be in business with the likes of them, but tolerated it nonetheless.

The timeline seems a bit off, considering the current year. Then again, it doesn't specify when Greenest was founded, only that Dharva was the "Queen" in 1372.

However, what really caught my attention was the fact that she is allied with the Shadow Thieves.

Here are my questions:

Will there be any manifestation of this Thieves Guild influence in-game?

Could there be a thief-themed quest made with a shady sort as the quest-giver?

How would this affect IC trade in the town? It states that there are no official taxes in Greenest, but would the Thieves Guild take a 'cut' via extortion / racketeering?
