Blade/Deathshingers with Weapon Focus Bastard Sword

Hello,
So the current and Lore-based Bladesinger requires either Weapon Focus Longsword or Rapier. However, and in particular, Deathsingers can also be Good if they worship Eilistraee, which has a bastard sword as their Deity weapon of choice.

So my thought and request is: could both Blade/Deathsingers take Weapon Focus Bastard Sword to ALSO qualify for the PrC? Obviously, this also requires taking Exotic Weapon proficiency as well.

Positive/negative houghts?

Hi steve. To get back on this, it was decided that the reqs of this prc will remain the same. There are no mechanical issues, however only WF Longsword/Rapier are required for the Bladesinger PRC. If we add the Bastard sword, then we might as well add all elven deity favored weapons.

Hey M3nt.

I can see where that argument is coming from. But it seemed obvious to me that the Bladesinger was SPECIFICALLY about only long blades in one/two hands...not quarterstaffs, daggers or warhammers.
