Anyone tried to solo the Icedragon?

I was wondering how much AC did your tanks have when you confronted it.

Also I’m surprised to hear about the +20 regeneration. Where does a white dragon get that from ?

60AC with mirrors, displacement and ethreal visage seems to be fine. Also need Regen up to mitigate any hits that do make it through.

The white dragon gets +20 Regen cause the server wants it to not be a solo endeavor. That is pretty much it.

If anyone manages to kill it solo (without cheating duh, no dual boxing or other people to buff you or help you in the chamber, getting buffs from other people before you go is fine though) and posts a video of the accomplishment I'll put your name somewhere in the Nexus.

Is the big guy immune to Weakening Critical and Wounding Critical?
If someone manages to stay alive and lands enough crits it could work...

Even if it didn't, it has like 10k HP. 50 constitution (the hard cap of NWN2) is +20 modifier. if you could reduce the con to 0, it would remove 25 hp per HD, and I think it's just 30 anyways (or maybe 32). So that's just 750 HP (or 800). The rest is bonus HP and won't be affected by the constitution damage.

Strength damage (if it worked) would help, though, since that would make it easier to survive it. But the very main problem with the white dragon is doing damage to it. It has enormous DR, and I think some partial physical damage immunity on top of that, various immunities, super high saves and high AC. And an enormous HP pool.

Yes, it's because of the 20/- dr and 25% physical immunities coupled with the 20 regen that I think the elemental shield strategy is the most reliable way to solo the dragon, as outlined in my other thread: viewtopic.php?f=64&t=68772

I was thinking about Expose Weakness but if the strength can’t be lowered you have to go really high with the AC and that’s quite difficult...

Does expose weakness bypass DR or stack? The description for it is not accurate. I was told it's DEX SCORE - 10 for damage per round, which is inconsistent with everything else in the entire game (it should be DEX MOD + 10, no other feats or spells grant bonuses on odd scores). Anyways, even if it bypassed DR and you could guarantee to keep it rolling every round it wouldn't surmount his 20 regen.

That’s exactly why I was enquiring about the regen because it sounded to me like something a little bit unusual for a dragon.
Anyway if you can get your DEX high enough you can probably deal 2-4 dmg per round (if you consider only Expose Weakness) which is definitely not enough...
