It could be easily abused or result in substantual glitches that could lead to lost of equipment. I'm sure that with enough time a full proof system that is stable could be developed but I think the time investment wouldn't be worth the inconvenience of asking a helpful bystander. If you need a mule for rebuilding just shoot me a tell IG if i'm around ^^,

Both Dalelands and Haven have similar systems that do work. Neither one appears to be abusable or bugged.

"The Sims" mentality is evident here. Apparently it is fine to have an OOC merchant so that you can equip ( with basic items ) and change the appearance of your character ( new or old ) in an OOC area (nexus), but the same does not apply to OOC mule items even for RCR purposes...

Disguised Storage wasn't taken out because there was "no RP basis," though, as stated many times in the original post we made about removing the option it was taken out because I'm tired of fixing 100 peoples' accounts per week because they disguised over an alt's name and lost a character. It created a tangible workflow problem on the administration side, and thus had to be removed. If it wasn't creating that problem you can trust me when I say it would have been left alone.

mrm3ntalist: No one even uses the Basic Merchant ever. I've sat in the Nexus on the DM client for hours at a time and never seen a player even look at it. The same would not be true for OOC storage in the Nexus, it would cause a giant blob of people in the Nexus using it at all times of the day and night. While your argument might make sense in "principle" it's not very sound practically speaking.

I'm going to go ahead and lock this thread so it doesn't end up as a back and forth between players and developers demanding them to justify a change (or lack thereof). It's only going to spiral in circles from this point forward.
