Class : Wizard (20) / Archmage (10)
Race : Tiefling
Base Attribute Allocation:
12 STR (could easily drop points to another, but I still like to be able to carry stuff.)
18 DEX (for those ranged touch spells.)
14 CON (every bit helps.)
18 INT (for obvious reasons. And will take a epic INT to make the end numbers even.)
WIS 10 (debating if it's worth relocating other attributes to boost this one further or not.)
CHA 6 (it can stay that way.)
Chosen Focused / specialized Schools of Magic : Evocation / Enchantment
Chosen Forbidden Schools of Magic : Transmutation / Necromancy
Thoughts on spells in use:
Energy immunity + AoE element spells, in conjunction with status effect spells that could lock down the enemy while in use as needed.
So, think it would work so far?
A question about potential effectiveness.

Well, it's a wizard so it'll work......
...
...
But (you knew it was coming bro)
You picked two of the worse schools to focus on. Evocation has bigby, but don't gain anything from focus. Enchantment is mind affecting so has its own limitations. You can live without either necromancy or transmutation well enough, but only red wizards end up with two forbidden schools.
You don't need 18 dex to hit with rta so I personally would drop it for more int, but if you want it more power to ya. I'd only start with 18 DEX if I was going for HiPS mage.
With the insane hp of mobs aoes pretty much suck... better off going conjuration and using clouds....
All of this said, it's a wizard, you'll do fine in pve regardless. I just think you'll get a little frustrated trying to use evocation and enchantment primarily.

Re: A question about potential effectiveness.
^ that.
Because Bugsidian decided maximised hitpoint rolls were the best way to advance hitdice, it means any XdX spell is utterly lacklustre in damage output because you're dealing with mobs that have maximised HP per HD rather than average (~40% lower!!).
This makes evocation an entirely useless school (except for bigbies, only 1 of which has a saving throw) since automatically maximised damage rolls to compensate for max HP are never going to happen (and burn precious metamagic spell slots if used as a feat).
Damage over time, summons or save or X spells are vastly superior as a result, not to mention losing transmutation means no haste for your allies!
