I am a bit OCD when it comes to making sure all of the little icons on the side of the page show the forums as read. There are going to be some that I am never interested in (sorry "music I am listening to" thread!) and would prefer to mark it once to ignore it.
Is that possible with the way the forums are set up? It doesn't appear to be but I thought I would ask.
Thank you forum mods for all of the work you do!
Is it possible to ignore a thread on the forums so it doesn't show new posts?

I'm thinking your best bet would be to just read the new posts in threads you're interested in and then select the handy-dandy 'Mark topics read' to remove the icon from the rest without having to click into each one individually. I don't think there's a more efficient method, but I've been wrong about a lot of things in my time.

Of course there is a more efficient method!
Go to the Board Index page.
On the right side of the screen, just below your Last Visit timestamp, is a lovely little clicky: MARK ALL FORUMS READ.
Done.
You're welcome!
(Would be nice to have an ignore forum function though)
