Hello!
After hearing the opinion of a few people regarding the Thayan Knight class, I decided to look into the pnp version and noticed that the bgtscc version was missing the +2 damage and +2 to hit that they get. Instead they get the guard the lord feat which most seem to believe isn't a good replacement since +2damage and +2 to hit is almost like getting a free Weapon Mastery feat.
Comparing it to the bodyguard class, it is lacking something like the +2ac aura that the bodyguard class gives.
The Thayan Knight class seems to be average at best. I'm curious about everyone else's thoughts.

definitely agree with a moderate buff to the class for what my opinion's worth. I struggle to justify taking it in almost every instance.

I am all for more powah to any class. However I do not see how this class is subpar by server standards. 2 free feats. +1 to all Saves. Guard your buddy so they only take so much damage. Which buddy should be a spell caster. +2 to fear saves. Not many classes get that in only 5 levels to be honest. I used a TK that was very good. A little WoD and some BG with MaA and it was a great build.

It may be helpful to allow non human's to participate, but I am sure that this goes past accepted ethos since it is currently a human only class.
I found that it is similar to divine champion (due to its saves and feat bonuses), but DC is easier to get the prereqs than the Thayan Knight.

Thayans are human Supremacists. lets not open it up to every race? Not unless you plan to do the same the bladesinger/deathsinger.

I think a small buff in class skill department might be adequate, I feel like their list can use some improvement for both mechanical and roleplay side. Heal is important to a degree for martial professions, especially for one that is dedicated to being bodyguards. Lore: Nobility would also a good addition for a caste dedicated to protecting the noble caste.
One thing I'd really like to see an addition to their Zulkir's Defender feature, I wonder if it would be possible to make it recognize if the recipient has Red Wizard levels and get some extra effects based upon that.
