Epic Ninja Boots question
Can someone please help educate me on how much UMD a character needs to use Epic Ninja Boots? The item description say it requires Assassin class to be able to equip. So how much UMD is required for a non-Assassin?
Also, these boots grant the Circle Kick feat, which I've read can be a very annoying feat since it automatically switches your char's current target. For a non-monk character, does that Circle Kick feat make these boots not so beneficial?

For your first question:sir_blacksoutalot wrote: ↑Sat Mar 16, 2019 10:48 am Can someone please help educate me on how much UMD a character needs to use Epic Ninja Boots? The item description say it requires Assassin class to be able to equip. So how much UMD is required for a non-Assassin?
Here's a link with the information you require;

Should be 11 skill points in UMD to use items restricted to another class i believe.
The second one Im afraid I cannot help you with.

Re: Epic Ninja Boots question
Circle Kick only works if you are unarmed .
Its the most annoying and bugged feat there is.
Eventually you can ask a DM to remove the feat from the item.

Amen. Nothing quite like losing 8 attacks for multiple rounds in a row because your schedule stops after your circle kick on the first hit in the round.

Most definitely for monks. DMs are nice though, they got rid of the feat for me when I finally was at wits end.

Re: Epic Ninja Boots question
yeah just ask the DM to remove the feat. shouldn't be an issue. To be honest the boots should just have it removed >>
