Olin Gisir questions

Does anyone already have experience with this new class? Having learnt that it progresses Bard Music, I am planning to use it in combination with Stormsinger to build a blaster with a huge spell arsenal.

A few questions (to be updated):

1) In the wiki it says the following about Ancient Songcraft:

the spellcaster listening to this song is momentarily attuned with the Weave at a deeper level, giving them a single minded focus allowing him to cast spells up to level 5 as if they were quickened. (Target gains auto-quicken 0-5 for 5 rounds, available only to bards).

Does this mean a sorcerer can take it as long as s/he is also a Bard? And that it works with Sorc spells?

2) Is 30 CL plus Spell Penetration (item) and a general arcane DC of 27 (including Eagle's) +spell lvl viable in PvE?

3) I've never played a pure caster/singer character: any comments on the following build concept are very welcome! How would you play it? What spells would work well? Do you know of any tactical tricks against mobs/single bosses?

1. No, you need to take the take the bardic progression for OG to access this.
2. Spell resistance is near non-existent in PvE, the DC is high enough.
3. Since 1. you probably need to think it again, ancient songcraft is primarily meant as a teamplay feat.

Re. 3.: So you think that Ancient Songcraft would be crucial to the build? What's wrong with it without it? I thought a full Sorc arsenal and 27 Bard Songs (for Stormsinger music and Word of Faith) might do well...

Wait... Could it be that Bard music, too, is not progressed unless the Olin Gisir advances Bard spells?
