In the afternoon a man dressed in black and dark clothes seems to be ordering a bunch of people around near the Minstrels Muse by the voice it seems to be Fingal Darius. These people would be pushing the siege weapons that was filling the streets some seem to come from inside the Muse as well. Most almost all of the siege weapons were pushed out into the Fist encampment outside the city, a single one was taken to another location.

IC Response from DM Golem: Fingal and his men are met at the camp by General Scar, who says a few words quietly to Fingal.

A young man in the uniform of the Flaming Fist is seen entering the Minstrel's Muse to speak with the management.

Not long after the Courier's arrival, noises and commotion begin in the Warehouse, as a number of workers from the docks rush inside the building, which closes for business for a few hours.

A blond man in elaborate red and gold armor escorts a large number of workers and wagons out of the House Darius warehouse in the Harbor, amidst the movement of numerous siege weapons under the direction of Fingal and members of the Fist.

The man in red and the wagons are seen making for the Temple of Gond in the Palace District, where the wagons disappear inside with whatever cargo they might carry.

The Flaming Fist courier departs with the caravan and is immediately seen breaking off to head to the Ducal Palace with a sealed scroll.

A messenger arrives on the doorstep of House Darius. In his hand he clutches a wooden scroll tube sealed in wax, bearing the mark of Rocky Creek Trade Company.

A letter was delivered to Darius Holding Company, addressed to one Maximillian Blackthorne, bearing upon it the seal and sigil of the Temple of the Watchful Shield.

A pair of Avowed from Candlekeep – Scholar Seeker and Martial Guardsman, arrive in Baldur’s Gate with a missive for the Company, from the Office of the Guide

Anyone seeking Nathan at the company would be informed he is resting and not feeling well after an incident in the city yestereve. The blond man would be asleep on a couch, looking a bit pale and sleeping like a rock.

A carefully wrapped potion of restoration and a bowl of concord grapes are delivered to the Company by a pompous moustached gnome, along with a letter bearing the seal of the Church of Mystra, addressed to the Marshal and Acting Steward of House Darius.

Flyers are posted all over Baldur's Gate and the surrounding regions on message boards and also on the walls and doors of properties owned by the House.

House Darius is Hiring!

A Noble merchant company based out of Baldur's Gate, House Darius is seeking new membership. There are numerous open positions across a variety of disciplines and training can be provided.

As an organization, the House has always focused on the betterment of the City through bringing in business via locally produced goods, investment in the arts, and giving back to the community. Recent projects have seen us expanding to supporting the security of the City in times of crisis through the outfitting of the Flaming Fist with enchanted silver weapons and the purchase of siege engines with custom designed ammunition for use against the fiendish threats.

Beyond that, we have a Charity branch called Operation Compassion that we use to fund aid for charitable projects in the land.

Whether you're a bartender, an adventurer, a sailor, a fisherman, an engineer, a performer, or most anything else we can find a position for you whether it's in our bar and performance hall or on one of our numerous sailing vessels.

Those keeping an eye on such details, would notice that every day or two, a new missive arrives to the Company, all coming from the same Temple in the East District.

One of the relatively decent looking beggars of Baldur's Gate docks was generously paid by unknown person to deliever a missive to the Muse. Crude, crumpled paper and caligraphic, ellegant writing — such an odd combination contained a simple message:

Lord Luke, we need to talk. I won't steal much of your time.

Tragedy


The brisk spring winds help push the sails of the Fishful Thinking back into port. Several empty chum barrels rolled around the deck as the skeleton crew secured the ship to the dock. Soon after the rumors of tragedy spread into the Darius Warehouse Complex and the Minstrel's Muse. There had been a tragic accident while the fishing vessel had been at sea.

The longstanding member and founder of Darius Holding Company, Lord Luke Darius, had been lost, fallen overboard with several barrels of chum, swallowed by the heavy waves and deep currents.

A distraught Fingal was seen being carried by two men of the fishing vessel as soon as it docked, he seemed alive and not hurt, but rather exhausted, still he would muster enough strength to yell very loudly in what seemed to be Luskan, those who understood the language would know these words as swear words. The missing hat and his soaked through clothes could only tell half the story of what had happened.

Nathan is seen hurriedly returning to the city, following a courier. He disappears into the warehouse and over the course of many days is not seen to leave.
