Background:
For as long as he can remember, this elven warrior from Suldanessellar has had a remarkable fondness - some may even call it an unhealthy obsession - for the ancient kingdom of Illefarn: A land where elves, dwarves and men were as equals, united under a single banner. He has always been captivated by the tales of Illefarn, and desires to restore the fallen realm to its former glory.
Since his arrival at the Sword Coast, Siril's activities have been fairly low-key - for the time being, he seems content with being viewed as little more than an eccentric adventurer. Some day, however, he hopes his deeds will bring him enough influence to help unite a number of local settlements into the foundations of a new Illefarn…
Goals: Help people. Be the champion Illefarn deserves, and rebuild the fallen kingdom - if not in territory or power, then at least in ideals and principles.
Possible Plot-Hook Ideas and Misc Facts:
- It seems likely that Suldanessellar was not an entirely fertile ground for Siril's ideas. He may or may not be something of an outcast in their eyes.
- Siril's equipment, while certainly designed and created by a skilled artisan, is not quite as similar to Illefarn equipment as he seems to believe - not only in terms of power, but also in its appearance. Regardless of whether Siril believes what he's saying, a historian more familiar with the kingdom may easily dispel the illusion he seeks to spread.
- There's probably all manner of individuals throughout the Sword Coast who would prefer Siril's efforts to fail (as they presumably will, since I assume Doomed by Canon is in full effect). This is a pretty significant geopolitical change he's trying to bring about, after all…
