The quiet bustling of the docks at night is interrupted only by the bit of commotion coming from the Twilight Rose. Rumor has it that the ship was sold off by its old captain: Aidan Thatcher. The business and crew remains but now it's run by a new captain of some renown in the area: a white-haired antlered tiefling called Fenix Wandersoul.

Several days in a row, a lithe and slender figure of a woman is seen wandering along the piers of the docks. Carrying a basket with flower petals of various early bloomers, from Winter Jasmines to Snowdrops and Daffodils. Every few feet she pauses along the docks and drops a handful of flower petals in the ocean water rolling under the wooden planks, she squints at the horizon and mutters an incoherent prayer repeatedly.

Upon completion of her ritual each day, the female priestess is seen dropping a flawless sapphire, imbued with a potent light spell that seem to dance and flicker in the facets of the brilliant gemstone, in to the waters of the harbor and departs soon after. She exchanges few words with any but her goddess during these visits and each day her resolve seems to grow with the lengthy endeavors of her task.

Eager eyes, follow the woman as she travels the docks, weary and wary. This is the docks and flowers have a price like anything else. Fearful at first but with time comes temptation.

"FLOWERS!.....Fresh picked flowers, get em while they are fresh." an urchin proudly yells.

An older group of kids are seen diving the harbour waters like a group of pearl divers. But their diving is doomed to fail, for an adventurer fresh to the city is already leaving a sterling sapphire burning a hole in their pocket.

Prayers passed only time will tell the value.

Zeeta Thulkist is a scion of the Banking House of Thulkist: an Sembian banking family of mixed reputation. She has already sponsored several expeditions against bandits on the region. Various rumours suggest she is either acting as a broker for one or more anonymous sponsors, or is creating conditions conducive to the arrival of a House of Thulkist caravan carrying sufficient wealth to open a new chapter of the Thulkist bank in Baldur's Gate.

Greengrass approaches,  encroaches on life oft rife with conflict.  Celebration, famous, it stands  known
as the artful commemoration of Spring's arrival. The Melting, manifest in the approach of Mirtul, has not
been overlooked by the creative collaboration of minstrels known as the Performer's Guild. By revival of
tradition thus comes word;  another evening of esthetic revelry,  titled appropriately  "Sunlight's Delight
and Moonlit Nights" is planned wherein all are invited to attend.

OOC Information:
The Performer's Guild would like to extend an invitation for interested parties to join us at our public Open Stage Night and perform or observe as desired.
To that end, we encourage participants to come prepared, and find gracious the limitation of one act per person. This event is sponsored by House Darius.
Our theme, as surmised, covers interpretations of all things of, or under, the sun and/or moon. Prizes will be awarded. We look forward to seeing you there!
The event will be on Saturday the 4th of May, starting at 1800GMT.

Adelaide could be seen attending a court session yesterday at the High Hall, with a kind smile and gentle demeanour to those who spoke with her. A visit to the Twilight Rose was made alongside a friend recognizable as the new owner, Fenix Wandersoul. The priestess visited the Minstrel's Muse afterwards and when seen leaving, carried a lute and a songbook - her expression as she made her way back to the Halls of Inner Light being a sorrowful one.

Walking through the Harbor district, on his way towards the docks a bright twinkle in the moonlight catches Umber's eye. Upon further inspection of the light source it turns out to be a beautiful, shimmering sapphire. Umber spends a moment admiring it's beauty before wrapping it in a piece of cloth and storing it away in his pack.

"I'll take this a sign of good luck." He says to himself before he heads on his way.

In the farmlands near local merchants such as Blunt the Weapons Smith, a red riding caped woman hired a few local adventures to retrieve a helmet that was lost by an “idiot”. The four adventures did return with a helmet which she clearly stated was the “wrong one” and then over paid for this “wrong” rusted out item.

Taking the item into black burlap and leaving the adventures, she headed back into the city gathering “other” people as she passed though the gates heading towards the Palace District.

A massive winged beast is seen flying over Baldur's Gate. The dark black creature opened its maw letting out a shattering roar followed by a fireball that enveloped two houses in the East District. The buildings were quickly put out by a group of adventurers and Flaming Fist Officers. Residents in the buildings were rescued by a brave few who stood against the flames. Survivors were rushed to the Ilmater shrine where the priests and priestesses tended to their burns. The creature was quickly deterred from the skys by flashing spells streaming across the night sky from the Flaming Fist Battle Casters. By the time the ballista's fired the beast had taken flight away from the city. Observations of the creature described a dark black beast in the night. Few details could be made out in the night sky, while others swear it had hallow white eyes.

The Flaming Fist is mobile and on high alert through the city that night and the following days after.
The female tiefling found this event rather amusing of course, having only just spoken about the Hunter just this morning with Arkam about the matter and events that long passed. Her curious if there has been any activity of such since. Last time she saw it it was flying over the halfling village beaten and nearly on the verge of death. It had consumed her after she was weakened by Nathan and her ground short off an eye. Course they would ruin it, all the people along with this coast murder what they don't understand.

" Of course I can't just ask Nathan for the eye to scry it they likely already did it " flipping through her studies hand cupping her chin as her pale pink hues scan what she's already written about events past already. " If it's still here means it's still looking for something, it wasn't interested in the war at all, but Why attack a human settlement out of seemly randomness " the chair groans leaning back. " Course the northern watch would be involved with their pet Arkam, amusing that only just understanding the need for someone that actually knows planer knowledge at their tower. " Getting up she paced a little back on forth thinking of that realm of dreams everyone who was there, those that nearly lost their minds. Biting her lip she looked around the room " Course she would still likely be around at the trade way she recalled me by name " lifting a glass of wine and sipping at it.

" None of them would be willing to talk to me, none of them know much of anything about me yet. I'm sure they suspect but without proof, I can retain just using scrolls as limited as they are. " Setting the glass down " the hunter is still in this realm looking for something, more brashly. The Darious and the northern watch believe they know what's going on let them. I'll continue to talk to the wizard to try and continue ties with him atleast, even if wren doesn't want him to " talking more to herself.

" Why do people who don't understand just get in the way, and not talk to those that can do something, perhaps not for the good but needs what is done to quicken a means to an end " flops on the bed and relaxed stares at the ceiling of her room " no Nathan and his will continue to force them self into the matter, like everything else they do. We just need to try and find the demon first " rolling over thinking of all the locations they tracked him to each city, town, or location marker. " The dream realm pocket, trade way south, halfling village, soubar, near the beard. it may have wings but - " looking over as the rolled over " What are you after."

A young aasimar stands just outside of the Blade and Stars and plucks at the strings of her lute, tuning it quickly before starting. Nervously she starts to play a melodic tune, her first time playing in front of people she didn't know. She softly starts to sing...

I ask you now, to hear my words.
To hear these words I sing.
I ask you now to hear my words,
and the message they bring..

I've run from it, all my life.
The daughter of a farmers wife
Trying to stay true to life,
But still can't find my way

I came from there and ended here.
Battled thought, and all I fear.
Always my sight was unclear
But never did I stray.

I ask you now, to hear my words.
To hear these words I sing.
I ask you now to hear my words,
and the message they bring..

Love is just outside my grasp.
Living life, but way too fast.
Always wishing things would last,
but they still found their end.

Once I learned to just let go.
Life became a bit more slow.
I should have learned some time ago
All I needed was a friend.

I ask you now, to hear my words.
To hear these words I sing.
I ask you now to hear my words,
and the message they bring..
Once finished she smiles to any who stopped to listen, then quickly goes back inside the Inn and up to her room.

A young aasimar might be noticed by those paying attention, hanging flyers around Baldur's Gate. She posts them outside The Elfsong, Near the Minstrel's Muse, Near the pier where the Siren's Song (Formerly known as The Twilight Rose) is docked, Near the White Mask Theater in the palace district and in a few places in the Wide, so those shopping might catch a glance.

She hangs them cheerfully and if any should ask she tells them of the after party and tells them it will be the Minstrel's Muse's last hurrah so they shouldn't miss it!

After she feels she has enough hung in the city she heads out and places a few on the tower near Blunt's stall and a few near the Campfire.

A disturbance is reported outside the White Mask Theater, in the gardens there - citizens reported loud, ghostly singing and a large number of butterflies. Some citizens report their homes shaking violently and there are reports of strange lights in the skies in that corner of the Palace District.

A blonde man, a silver-haired man with antlers (who some overheard introducing himself to someone or another as Walley), a scarlet-haired Elven woman purported to be in a coppery-scaled theatrical costume, a fiery haired tiefling, and a silvery-haired Aasimar were spotted at the scene according to reports of a witness who was seen in the company of numerous cats. She supposedly twisted the ear of one of those troublesome noisemakers afterwards.

The commotion in the gardens subsided soon after. Additional rumors of Emerald dragons playing cards with naked wizards, kobolds wearing bowties and taking coats of guests, and talking dogs with serving trays of refreshments on their backs remain entirely unconfirmed - and why wouldn't they?

Nobody has ever heard of a kobold Butler.

Arledge had been making some general inquiries in the city of late regarding parchment that were being distributed some weeks ago in and around Baldurs Gate. The fliers were very richly printed, suggesting a wealthy backer, and they expressed concern and suspicion about the number of tieflings in the city of late seeming to coincide with the emerging threat of devils at Dragonspear. Inquisitor Arledge would hope to learn more about which person or what organisation was behind the distribution.
