Regeneration cloak changer not working

I tried several times to have my regeneration cloak changed at the NPCs at Maltz' shop. The npc does not spawn the model needed to change the cloak. Is there some fix you can do to make it work again?

I can recommend using the Item Appearance Change Kit available from merchants in game. Your cloak can be safely changed using this.

Found the kit, but would be nice it they fixed the NPC too.

The kit is sold at Lucky's shop across from Maltz's. Or the merchant in the farmlands. It is in the last tab.

It's also in the Nexus shop. The NPCs are a bit deprecated.

You're going to want the kit regardless as it's how you access new clothing and armor additions.

Could the dialogue for these NPCs be updated so it no longer seems there is a bug

no, it's still needed occasionally for some mithral armors

Kit works on Mithril.
