So in response to my previous post about Spell Focus (Abjuration) I've decided to kick around a few ideas for Spell Focus (Evocation).
My idea for spell focus Evocation:
Spell Focus Evocation changes 1 Die of Damage from the spell's normal Damage Type into Unresistable Magic Damage.
So a 10th level Sorceror with Spell Focus (Evocation) would deal 9d6 fire damage, plus 1d6 points of Unresistable Magic Damage with his 10th CL Fireball.
Greater Spell Focus increases this to 2 Die of Damage. Epic Spell Focus changes this to 4 die.
So a Fireball cast by an Epic Level Sorceror with Epic Spell Focus (Evocation) would deal 11d6 of Fire Damage and 4d6 Magical Damage that couldn't be resisted by Elemental Resistances instead of the normal 15d6 damage.
Does not allow them to do MORE DAMAGE. Just allows their damage to pierce through defenses.
Thoughts? Opinions?

Chaos is relative. What is normal for the Spider is Chaos for the Fly.

Re: Spell Focus (Evocation) and Spell Focus (Enchantment)
The second part of this post is Spell Focus (Enchantment.)
Spell Focus Enchantment increases the duration of any Charm or Dominate effect by 1 minute.
Greater Spell Focus (Enchantment) grants any creature currently Dominated by you the effects of the Heroism Spell (Which is Enchantment.)
Epic Spell Focus (Enchantment) allows for the Spellcaster to change his first Dominated creature from a "Dominate" party slot into a "Cohort" party slot. This allows the Enchanter to keep one creature permanently dominated, as a permanent "Thrall", as well as to be able to dominate another creature temporarily. The Domination still ends upon rest.

Sounds good to me, there are plenty of critters running around on the server that have a long list of immunities.
