Hello! I have a character concept that I would like to play, but I am not familiar with all of the new classes and combinations on this server. I have read the wiki, but putting these things together beforehand is not a strong suit.
My concept is this -> a traveling entertainer type, perhaps of Gur descent (or Halfling?), a sort of carnival/side show artist turned adventurer. I would like to incorporate thief acrobat, as I think that sounds like a fun RP concept, and I am intrigued by breathing fire (like a circus fire breather) from either drunken master or dragon warrior. I also like the RP of the Shadow Dancer class.
My thoughts are something like Monk (15)-Drunken Master (10)-Thief Acrobat (5) - but I am not sure how Monk would fit for the RP - or Ranger (13)-Dragon Warrior (7)-Shadow Dancer (5)-Acrobat (5). Dual wielding or Archery, I think either could fit the circus/carnival/side show concept.
I am not as interested in mechanical domination as I am in simple viability and fitting a nice RP concept.
Would any skilled builders like to help me come up with a plan?

As it is a performer, why not get into bard territory?
Bard8 is a decent stopping point, for example. Bard8/dragon warrior10/dread pirate7/tempest5, for example. Gets you 4 inspiration. Why dread pirate, you may ask? Well, because it synergises really good with bard. Possibly better to go bard5/dreadpirate10 too, mind you. Dread pirate also gets you free improved two weapon fighting, and then tempest gets you free greater two weapon fighting. So you could just stop at 14 dexterity and pump strength for all that damage.
But my idea here for this kind of character would actually be to go 17 dex for manyshot and then rest strength and pick up Brutal Throw for using thrown weapons!
In that case, you could go bard8/fighter7/dragon warrior10/elemental archer5
Or drop to 14 dex and go ranger with archery combat for a ranger11/fighter4/thief acrobat5/dragon warrior10
And then there is Warsling Sniper for halflings...

Re: Concept Assistance?
Drunken Master needs Monk, which is not all that circussy, wastes some Thief Acrobat AC (as this depends on using Combat Expertise rather than Flurry), and makes the Thief Acrobat Knockdown/Improved Knockdown redundant. It also needs STR as the primary attribute, which doesn't go well with Stealth and the Shadowdancer DEX requirement.
So I'd concentrate on the Dragon Warrior, Thief Acrobat, Shadowdancer, something else options.

A Warlock 6+ with Firestride Exhalation could also breath fire at will.
Other invocations could fit the entertainer idea. Darkness, Leaps and Bounds, Flee the Scene, Wall of Perilous Flame, Otherworldly Leap, ....
Something like a Wl22,SD3,TA5 or Wl19,SD3,TA5,Hellfire Warlock3 for the Summon Baatezu entertainment

Re: Concept Assistance?
With the RCR feature in the nexus, I have decided to take a character on a different track.
I am starting a lvl 1 character with commoner, and will plan to use menial-task quest XP and/or RP XP to gain 2-3 levels in the commoner class (more if necessary) while finding an RP niche. I will then RP the development of a class or skill, level up once in that class, and then likely before level 10 RCR into something along the lines of my RP, removing the commoner, and fixing any "issues" that arise in the preliminary leveling process (things like -> RPing toward shadowdancer without 19 Dex, or a caster with a 14 in my casting stat, for example).
Will this character be a hero/ine or villain/ess? A pick-pocket, renowned knight, or a mighty wizard? I guess it depends on who they meet and how they interact!
