I somehow have both stages of this quest in my journal stating i need to gather the coast cave troll hides and the trollclaw hides, when i handed in said hides all the box gave me was gold, no quest complete prompt.
I think i might have glitched out because i had the first step in my log for so long without completing it, then picked up the second step?

Works as designed - That quest doesn't give xp nor does it ever finish - it's just a way to earn some gold.
