Solar Channeler Bugs

Renamed the topic for general bugs that may be an effect of the latest patch.

1. Not sure if this is a known issue but, when using channel solar and having certain spells on, the wisdom bonus to str, con, and dex don’t seem apply. The following spells I’ve found (there may be others) somehow block the wisdom bonus:

Blindsight
Spell Resistance
Holy Aura
Divine Power
Mass Death Ward

These also seem to block bonuses to AC so the AC is off.

2. At all times when using solar form, my wisdom is reduced by 2 creating a 9 wisdom bonus instead of the 10 I should have. Wisdom is 26 natural with owl’s wisdom on for a total of 30 (+10 bonus).

Regarding your stat-problem - works well for my human - do you have a race with wisdom-bonus ?


but i found another issue:

Solar's Grace Specifics: You gain the ability to use Solar's Grace, you bestow the characteristics of a Solar on an ally temporarily.

works only on yourself, no way to target anything with this ability.

That last one will be sorted next update but the previous one is still puzzling for now.

She is an aasimar so that may be why? Is it supposed to remove racial bonuses?

I don't know, but it happens to druids too.

Multiplayer Bugs/Notes
Racial ability bonuses(Svirfneblin/Gray Orc Confirmed) to strength, dexterity, constitution, intelligence, wisdom, and charisma are taken away while shifted causing you to lose bonus spells unless you have cast Owl's Insight/Owl's Wisdom prior to shifting. This is merely a workaround for losing spells, you still lose -1 AC, DC, and Will Saves.

Yea the game treats you as no longer an aasimar when you shape shift, thus you lose aasimar stats.
